They quickly resolved this issue, and the second room was clearly not fully ready to stay in. There were boxes of screws, and the boxes for the alarm system still in the room. "We were originally booked in the older, main hotel, but due to the heat wave, they offered to move us to the new hotel with AC at no additional cost. We were given a suite with a view of the Main Street. Breakfast was very good, and so was the restaurant for dinner. 2 loads of laundry was only 35€ We would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean, modern (inside), outside is historic, hotel."

"This hotel was located immediately adjacent to the Nordlingen wall on the outside. It was an easy walk from the train station and easy to find. The hotel felt family focused, and the accommodations were exactly what we were looking for on a family trip. We arrived earlier than check-in, but the front desk were able to hold our luggage while we explored the town. When we returned, our room was ready and it felt like something right out of an IKEA catalog. Everything was very functional, and the balcony was a nice added touch. The breakfast buffet was comprehensive and delicious. If I return to Nordlingen, I'd absolutely stay here again."

"The hotel rooms are comfortable with reasonable space. The rooms and hallways (I stayed on 2 different occasions) are getting a little rundown and could benefit from fresh paint and new carpets. Other than that it is very good, quiet and in an excellent location to explore the old town. We did not eat in the restaurant as it was not open and chose not to get breakfast as the price was a little steep."

Water temperature was pleasant for swimming but not for chilling in the pool, where it should have been a few degrees higher."
