Schloss Kapfenstein

Private 6 bed room was dirty, with food debris in corner and no soap in dispensers. Asked to be cleaned on first day, never cleaned. Kitchen so dirty unusable during entire stay. Breakfast very basic for expensive price. Very hot rooms with no air con. Staff dismissed concerns. We did visit during F1 weekend but surely they would expect to be busy.

Best engineered hotel I have stayed in every thing was functional and beautifully thought through.. praise indeed to the designer.. most Hotels seem to be developed by people that don’t travel and don’t stay in hotels .. whoever designed this hotel clearly knows what a good night sleep away from your own surroundings should be .. 5*
