Clean, responsive communication, detailed description of neighborhood and friendly friendly local businesses and people. Ben the condo manager was there to welcome and check us in and even hauled out luggage to the 2nd floor for us. The building was in a safe neighborhood and the pool was nice and the flights of stairs did not bother us at all, even our toddler loves counting how many steps each time we walked them-great workout! The weather was not too nice the first 3 days, but we still found plenty of things to do and enjoy in town and around the area. Sayulita was full of beach living life, our toddler had a blast eating different styles of street tacos and we even cooked several yummy meals with fresh fish from the local seafood store that had fresh mackerel, mahi mahi and snapper. Los Meurtos beach was beautiful on the last full day and the golf cart was necessary with our toddler! The other days we lazed in front of Don Pedro's restaurant (you can rent the beach chairs)and had fun in the waves watching the surfers.
The condo itself was clean, with enough utensils and dishes for 3-4 people and the upstairs rooftop area was a nice place for afternoon sunning and reading (the hammock is the best to snooze in!) while the toddler was napping.
WE even booked massages one afternoon while nap time was happening for the baby and had them set up on the rooftop. The view from the condo is incredible of the beach and the closeby local restaurants were all fun, friendly and decent. WE preferred to search out where locals would go for some traditional fare like Birra and Menudo, but were unsuccessful.
Having a washer/dryer was a plus especially with a two year old!
Bring pesos, as we forgot to make the currency change but there are plenty of ATMs dishing out US Dollars or Pesos.
Overall, we had a blast and I would go back too Sayulita in a heartbeat!
Thank you Eric for sharing your home!
