The timeless seaside town of Aldeburgh is just 6 miles away, with a Georgian high street full of independent shops, galleries, and restaurants and of course excellent fish and chips! While there, be sure to visit the 16th-century Moot Hall and the hilltop church where composer Benjamin Britten is buried. The charming village of Orford is 7.5 miles away, featuring a medieval castle, picturesque quay, Grade I-listed church, and fine local food shops and pubs. Southwold, 18 miles away, is a must-see for its pretty seaside architecture, Edwardian pier, and iconic lighthouse.
