  • This is the perfect get away spot only 15 minutes from the pickwick dam. There is a carport for parking your boat and if you want to do a little fishing closer to the cabin the Bruton branch campground is only 3 miles away which also has a boat ramp! At the cabin you can hang out at the multiple fire pits, swing on the porch swing,and fire up that grill for a juicy meal. DVDs on site as well as multiple board games suitable for all. Run around and explore the grounds and you will find a little pebble path the kids will enjoy. You won’t regret spending time in nature!

Hardin County, Pickwick trip

Safe experience for myself and other pro angler enough parking for 2 trucks and boats. Very clean and comfy. Close to Pickwick Lake was great.

Nice Cabin in the Woods

We loved the cabin. It was in a beautiful area & just as described. We did contact Keri a few times, and she was always quick to respond and to offer help. We would love to come back in the summer and see what the area is like then.

Fishing Trip

Great location to Pickwick lake. Backing your boat into the drive is a little tricky but manageable. Needs WIfi in the cabin. Overall good trip.

It was great for what we needed for the weekend. Weather was a little cold for outdoor activities. When reliable internet is available it will be perfect.

It was easy access to Pickwick Lake, house was perfect for our family of 6, and communication with host was in a timely manner. Our only complaint was the grass needed a trim due to it being snake seaon.

Nice cabin convenient to Pickwick Lake

Communication is fantastic with the owner. The cabin is spacious and served its purpose well for our fishing trip. As has been mentioned, your cellphone service and wifi is pretty much non-existent in this location and may locations in the area so just be aware of that. Outside of that, the value of this VRBO is very good. I would consider staying again.

Nice cabin

It was an awesome cabin but no wifi was the worse problem as could not contact family back home to chk.on them.we would have to drive into town to be able to call or text.No tv just some old movies to watch.

Perfect Getaway

The cabin was very clean (my kids still talk about how good the cabin smelled), it was just the perfect size for our large family! Overall, beds slept great, stocked well with games, kitchen appliances, towels, etc. We enjoyed our long weekend and plan on returning in the future! Only downside (wasn’t that big of a downside) was my phone didn’t have good service. I didn’t understand the hotspot booster, but that wasn’t owners fault!

Nice place, clean and comfortable 5 mins from a good boat ramp.

All went well overall. Disappointed that any phone number for the site was hidden. Not sure how I found the host phone number but I did, once. Was going to call a different time and couldn't find it. Should be on the VRBO notifications I got but not there. I would stay t Here again. Glad I found it.

First thing I noticed was hole through the drywall that I could put 3 fingers in. Looks like something used to be mounted to the wall as there were also screw holes . Other numerous holes in drywall. Dust on frig, air intake vent, and mantle above fireplace. Motion sensor in bedroom? Bedroom bathroom door cant close completely from inside because door frame is lopsided, can only close fully from outside bathroom and have to push firmly. Towel holder fell apart, toilet paper holder one side not anchored securely to the wall in othef bathroom.Large Dead trees in front of property with broken branches hanging in them, just waiting for a strong wind to blow them down potentially on vehiclesDriveway off a narrow road, makes it extremely difficult to back a boat into the property. No Wi-Fi you have to use a hotspot from your cellular phone in order to get any TV channels and even then half of them are blockedPoor response time to questions. Over 15 hrs foe response about wifi and many hrs for other questions

This was perfect for what we were doing and wanted. We went riding on the NATRA trails down to the Pickwick lake and this was a perfect location and cabin to come back to and wash the mud off then just relax. My husband and I loved that there was no WiFi and played games at night or just talking on front porch swing. Would come back!
