The views from this property are absolutely stunning, and it has good access to Muir Beach.However the property condition does not match listing photos. The mattress on the bed I slept in was worn out/springs were pokey and the metal bed frame unstable and wobbly. Multiple rush-seat chairs are damaged and unsafe. Dining table has significant water damage. Kitchen cabinet paint is peeling. Flooring is warped at the sliding door threshold, and visibly discolored in other areas.I tripped on an unmaintained drainage gap in the driveway and twisted my ankle.No window coverings downstairs (you will wake at dawn! bring an eye mask!).Shoeless house policy with no advance notice, no house shoes provided. There is a cleaning fee, a cleaning insurance requirement, and then a lengthy set of instructions for how to clean the house prior to leaving. Lastly, the owner includes inflammatory, inaccurate, and legally questionable information in her description, house rules, and overall communication (for example, don't run the clothes dryer or you might set the hillside on fire; "we are in year three of drought so don't use water"— we haven't been in a drought for 2 years)
