The staff make this place excellent!! They were constantly going out of their way to make my stay comfortable. A great place to relax in a unique atmosphere. Even if you are not there for the horseback riding, you'll feel like you are staying with your friends who happen to be cowboys.
The staff is exceptional. You can do as much or as little as you want. Food is great. Feel like you stepped back in time. Can't wait till we can go back !
It's a wonderful place with many things to do if you choose to or to just relax. Service was very friendly and accommodating and food was excellent. We would like to have stayed longer if we could have.
A wonderful ranch. Totally peaceful setting. Great staff and food was delicious. Horseback ride to beautiful scenery. Loved out themed "John Wayne" suite. A very laid backed ranch for anyone looking to totally unwind. Great cantina and beautiful sitting areas. Just all around wonderful stay!!
We have stayed here several times in the past and generally like it. This stay differed in that the dinner and overall experience was overpriced. (Expensive dinner was cut up sausage mixed with veggies.) In fairness I am not a horse person and My educated guess is that this aspect would be very positive.

Authentic Rancho
Old, old ranch with great history. The managers made it come to life. Pristine, remote area. Highly recommend. I want to ride horses next time.
Rancho de la Osa is an absolutely wonderful historic ranch experience. Sincere, friendly staff. Genuinely willing to share the history of the ranch, the buildings, and surrounding area. As seasoned travellers this was a rare top-rated memorable experience. Also quiet and restful. I wholeheartedly recommend it for family/group getaways or company retreats.
