We had an incredible weekend stay at the Casey Key Resort in Nokomis. The staff were amazing, the accommodations were elegant, the location was IDEAL (especially for a fisherman), and the views were PRICELESS. We stayed in a cozy cabin and had access to both the gorgeous white sandy beaches of the gulf along with dock access to the Intercoastal Waterway. I would highly recommend this small little hotel as it is both cozy and wonderfully located on Casey Key.

The resort was great. It was cozy and comfortable. Out the back door, there was a dock and it was shaded out there. And a short walk across the street, through the courtyard, was a nice sitting area where the breeze blew thru and our moms could relax and watch the sunset while my husband and I walked the shore line looking for sharks teeth,..which I found several.
