「Madeira is beautiful wherever you go but if you want quiet with less crowds and less neighbors this is the place to stay. It had all the amenities we could ever need and a beautiful yard to draw or read. This is the opposite of a big city life and offers a true getaway from the rise and grind of the everyday hustle.」

「Wir hatten an sich eine wunderbare Zeit in diesem Haus... Allerdings war die Kommunikation mit Teresa quasi nicht vorhanden. Nach der ersten Nachricht, dass wir einchecken können hat sie unsere Nachrichten konsequent ignoriert und wir haben die komplette Zeit nichts mehr von ihr gehört - das war sehr schade. Die Poolheizung war nicht an und somit hatte das Wasser nur knappe 20 Grad und zu kalt zum schwimmen. Leider wurde auch diese Nachfrage komplett ignoriert. Die Ausstattung könnte etwas...

「The house was lovely and clean and well presented in a lovely garden setting. The pool was incredibly clean and sun loungers and towels provided. nice communal spaces for BBQ and eating outside. Enough on site parking in a secured garden area. Kitchen could benefit from some baking trays and a toaster, but everything else was provided. You do need a car or use taxis as its a long steep road up from Calheta itself and the beaches. The manager was so helpful and great at communicating with us and...

「C'est une belle maison, agréable, fonctionnelle, et très spacieuse. Nous avons passé 3 belles semaines en famille. Les hôtes sont très prévenants, toujours prêts à aider. La localisation est idéale: on est à proximité de la station balnéaire de Ponta Do Sol, à 30 min de Funchal en voiture et des premières belles randonnées. Bref, nous recommandons !」

「The house was just what we hoped for, a lot of space, clean and very well equipped. Outside there was a large terrace with an amazing view over the Atlantic. The owner did everything she could to make us comfortable. We can give the best recommendations.」

「Sehr schönes Häuschen in den Bergen. Nach den Wanderungen konnte man draußen herrlich den Abend genießen. Wir waren zu dritt und sind bequem im Haupthaus untergekommen. Alles funktionstüchtig. Es gibt eine spannende Levadawanderung, Levada da Fajā do Rodrigues, ganz in der Nähe. Sehr gute und freundliche Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter. Jederzeit gerne wieder! Herzlichen Dank, Eugenio!! 」
