What to expect

Nice beach, quiet place, simple food 12 euro for dinner (fish fish fish), beer is 2 euro, simple breakfast (egg, sandwich, coffe), they dont offer lunch, you have to walk to nearest village 30 min to get lunch. No English is spoken. Nice stay overall, but could improve.

Das Camp ist ein idealer Ort für den Süden der Insel. Es ist weniger ein Hotel, vielmehr ein Campingplatz mit Hütten und Anschlussmöglichkeiten zu anderen Gästen wie in einem Hostel. Man trifft sich zum Abendessen im Gemeinschaftsraum, zum Austausch und Unterhalten. Besitzer Tomas kocht für einen schmalen Taler. Im Kühlschrank steht Bier oder Wein. Abgerechnet wird am Abreisetag. Nur schade, dass Tomas kein Englisch spricht, so ist die Konversation ohne Spanischkenntnisse schwierig. Der Strand ist traumhaft, hier bist Du alleine. Die Hütten sind gut vor Sonneneinstrahlung geschützt, mit dem Nachteil, dass manchmal eine Nuss laut aufs Dach knallt, was in der Nacht nicht so toll ist. Aber so ist Campen in der Natur. Es gibt WLAN, allerdings nur rund um das Gemeinschaftsgebäude. Nachts wird es abgeschaltet. Die Ortsbeschreibung bei Expedia stimmt nicht, es liegt weiter nördlich. Achtet auf das Schild "Praia Grande" am Straßenrand. Bringt genug Lebensmittel mit, der nächste Supermarkt befindet sich in der Hauptstadt, wie auch die nächste Tankstelle.

Alojamento bastante agradável mesmo em frente à praia. Os bungalows são básicos mas com o conforto necessário para dormir. Duche no exterior e casa de banho no exterior, mas limpos.
