「The Vine was an excellent hotel in a great location. The staff were all friendly and helpful. I would particularly highlight Hermes, Carmo, Bernardo and Jorges in the bar, the restaurant and at breakfast. It was a shame that my room upgrade was not available but the room we had was still nice. The Vine is easy walking distance to the harbour, the old town and multiple restaurants. The rooftop pool, bar and restaurant are also a fantastic place to spend time. 」

「The hotelier is located in the middle of the town. Easy access to anywhere still in a very quiet and relaxing atmosphere. The roof top pool and bar and it's view are excellent. Hotel staff and service are perfect. You will be welcomed with a sparkling wine and invited to a live music with nice aperitif in the evening. A room is also so elegant.」

「Due to glitch in the reservation system, the hotel was overbook. We were transported by hotel's shuttle to their other property Hotel Quinta Mirabella. Beautiful hotel with excellent views. Every was perfect there.Little bit further from the centre of Funchal, but the hotel provided the shuttle few times per day. There was also bus stop around the corner - very convenient .」
