"The stay there was generally great. Good view from the accommodation, quiet and good breakfast. Service is nice, and efficient through WhatsApp. Only one issue is the last night of my stay there are termites. I know that they are not harmful, but the wings and worms dropped on my baggage. I don’t know if there are efficient and sustainable way to avoid this or not. Guess it might be a common issue living in old buildings. Overall, Ouro Preto is so nice, worth coming and living for some time."

Pousada Casa dos Contos

8/10 Good

"Overall good , thought breakfast was included but there was coffee and cheesebread in the lobby, good location and clean room, helpful staff so I would probably stay here again"

Pousada Sinhá Olímpia

10/10 Excellent

"Charming little hotel. Very clean, calm, and well maintained, with excellent hospitality. The on-site parking and shared spaces are great (my daughter especially enjoyed the piano). It’s about a 30-minute walk from the center, with some fairly steep climbs. Other than that, it’s a highly recommended little gem!"

Pousada Laços de Minas

10/10 Excellent

"Really gorgeous place in an old building in the heart of the historic town. Just 5 minutes walk from the church of St Francis of Assisi, restaurants, shopping streets etc but tucked away on a quieter street. We had room 6, very pretty with two small balconies with full length windows overlooking the street. We loved standing on the balconies looking across the rooftops to the mountains. Very comfy bed. Can borrow a hairdryer from reception. Bring your own soap and toiletries. Nice towels, beautiful old polished wood floors. Everything very clean. A lot of character in this place. The breakfast room is also very pretty with a great selection of food. The staff are lovely; Mariella on reception is very kind and helpful and the kitchen staff are lovely, very smiley people. We stayed two nights and loved this hotel and loved this town."

Pousada Inconfidência Mineira

10/10 Excellent

"It was a magical little place overlooking the mountains. Staff was very helpful and rooms were cozy."

Teatro Hotel Boutique

10/10 Excellent

"Fantastic location for easy walk to town and sights. Beautiful historical property. Bed has all of the creaks and sounds of its age but mattress very comfortable and got a great night's sleep. Angelica took very good care of us. Excellent breakfast. Parking a challenge if arrive mid-day but in the evening we found a spot very close to hotel."
