Cold in May in Portugal

The place was difficult to find but with some assistance from a local we were able to locate it. The hospitality was good and room clean but unfortunately there was no heating in the room, were very cold first night. Without asking the 2nd night an additional blanket was added but we were colder than the first night. The next morning we had breakfast, I tried locating the owner could not find her,so I left her note letting her know that we were seeking other arrangements and would not be staying with her the last two nights and thanked them for their hospitality and left our cell number for them to contact us. I did ask for the last two nights to be cancelled as we had to get alternate arrangements at a higher price. We didn' t expect to be staying where was no heat. T
