Apartments in Santo Domingo Norte for Rent

"The beach was very beautiful and it’s close to SDQ airport. The rooms needed much upgrading especially the bathroom. The main reason I’m giving it 2 stars because of the condition of the room I stayed in. They put us in a room overlooking pool and it was very very loud until 2 or 3 in the morning. Everyone was partying and it was very hard to get good rest. The food was actually pretty good. Lots of options and anyone could find something to eat. However the wine that’s included in the all inclusive is absolutely awful snd I was unable to drink it. The sparkling wine was terrible too. The mixed drinks by the pool were the way to go. The staff was very nice and tried their best to help you. I would say if you want a place super close to the airport and inexpensive but no luxury with the room in any way then maybe it would be for you. I myself would not go again. "

"Clean room, simple but good. A couple of problems but quickly fixed, would stay again. Breakfast simple But sufficient. Great staff!!!!"

"Although the reviews were raving, unfortunately I didn’t experience the same. When checking in, the staff were great, the room has a sort of homely feel, like your staying in someone’s guest room, super clean and simple. We were only staying 1 night as we had some business to attend to locally early next morning. So for us it was just somewhere to sleep and shower, but of course, expecting a certain standard. Unfortunately for us the shower had NO hot water and we called down to reception, who tried to troubleshoot and fix this problem, to no success. This saga went on until almost 11pm. To which we gave up and just wanted to sleep, like I mentioned we needed an early start so accepted showering wasn’t part of our stay. We switched the lights off to sleep and was bothered by the humming fridge and flashing light from the tv. Unplugging both solved the problem!!!! In the morning we hoped the hot water would have been fixed, we ran the water for 15mins and miraculously we got hot water, so we managed to catch a warm shower before leaving, then we had just enough time to grab breakfast. If we knew what we knew now, we wouldn’t have bothered paying as the breakfast was super simple and you could pay the same or less and grab something else local. I wouldn’t normally take the time to post a non-positive review, but when complaining at the time, at check out and following up with a detailed email after check out, I would expect at least a reply of some sort….??? "

"The place is clean nicely renovated yet the back up generator are not good the lights went off in 1 day 3 times lasting 6 to 8 min each time. Which was a bit foe me compared to other resorts, lights would be off in DR and you wouldn't even notice. The Food option is very limited. Its a nice welcoming place the staff are great yet these factors made a negative impact to my stay. "
