Rest after the Camino.

Very good Stay. Nice hotel, comfortable quiet not too far from city center and bus train station, The hotel also has a nice pool Something you didn’t see too much around here.

We easily walked to the cathedral most days and found nearby restaurants very good. The staff answered all of our questions and were helpful in obtaining taxi's.

It's a 25 minute walk from the cathedral, but there are loads of wonderful restaurants much closer that are less crowded. Everyone on staff is really kind and helpful and the room was great.

About 2 km from the Cathedral - the rooms are nice and large and breakfast fabulous. Easy walking distance to the old city and the cathedral. No need for the pool though...after all, we are there for the cathedral.

The check in process was easy and the front desk was able to answer any questions I had. Luis at the bar had suggestions for dining in the area and educated us on Galician language qualities. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Would recommend a suite if you are staying more than a couple of days.

The hotel was quiet, comfortable, and clean. It's in a great location. It's easy to walk to the center of Santiago, and it's super close to the train station. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was outstanding. They have so many delicious options. I highly recommend it if you want to have a perfect Spanish experience. They provide a nice espresso machine, freshly squeezed orange juice, fruit, pastries, bread, and toppings galore. My 75-year-old mom loved the delicious options!

Has room fir improvement as 4 star hotel

It is a recently renovated hotel, with average swimming pool. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Rooms requires more work to make them soundproofed. In the current paper wall state there is no privacy and it disturbes uour sleep if nect room people decide to haceva late night! Nothing is left in the room to welcome guests! It is standard practice to keave at least a bottle of water for the guests! Rooms didn't have functional safe! The box was there but the doorlock on the safe was not installed!

Overall an Excellent Hotel

Our stay at the Exe Peregrino was excellent. We arrived late at night and were given a junior suite which was a lovely surprise. Check in staff were helpful as were any other staff that we came across during our stay. Hotel was spotless throughout, beds were comfortable and the pool area was really nice for a city hotel. Breakfast was a great choice and did not disappoint. We did eat one night for dinner at the buffet in the restaurant bit would not recommend the choice was poor, the food was cold and the quality was a 2/10 at most-this would be the only complaint of the hotel but I feel it is worth mentioning. On the day of leaving we were able to keep our room on until 2pm at no extra cost which was very helpful. Location wise it was perfect and was only a short walk to the centre of town and the old town. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would use agin ourselves.
