The kitchen set-up was nice, and well stocked with pots, pans, and cooking utensils...even with plastic storage containers for the fridge! It was comfortable for our family with children and grandchildren who also enjoyed having the "yard" for playing, and it was nice to be so close to the pool. We did miss being able to see the Gulf from our porch. Great to have 2 full-size beds in the 3rd bedroom. That works so much better for our family than the more common 2 twin beds found in rental units.
We love 30A so much better than staying in Destin. No high rises, much less traffic, more "laid back". Lots of room on the beach, and very safe for the children. Loved the restaurants and shops on 30A except Stinky's Fish Camp which is a long wait no matter when you go, and food not worth it!
It's more of a tourist trap. Other restaurants, like Local Catch, are more fitting of the local scene and really great for families.
Flooring gets a little slippery if wet or humid.
