Great condo near Topsail!

We were supposed to be camping at topsail preserve State Park, right down the road, but we had vehicle issues and ended up needing to rent a condo instead of staying in our RV. I booked this condo at the last minute, and arrived the following day, the condo met our needs. We did have to purchase toilet paper, and paper towels, and actually kitchen towels and washcloths because they were not provided in the kitchen. Other than towels and washcloths, the kitchen had everything we needed to cook, small meals, like scrambled eggs and toast, etc… Can’t wait to rent this again!

1st time staying in 30A/Great location/Close to Dune Allen Beach and Miramar-Destin

Easy access and close to Scenic Highway 98 and Destin beaches. We usually stay in Miramar/Destin and know that area well. It was nice to be close enough to enjoy 30A and Destin entertainment areas we are used to. Property was clean except for the dirty linens that were left from the previous guest. I called and was told to leave them in the entryway inside the condo and someone would be by to pick them up. Took 4 days for someone to come by (and was only because their repair guy stopped at our condo in error - he was supposed to be looking at someone else’s A/C). There was no Wi-fi in the unit as the modem was not working. Was told on first day that they would bring out a hotspot but was never delivered and was not resolved during our stay, even after daily calls. Disappointed in Real Joy’s sense of urgency in a situation that needed to be resolved quickly as we were not able to work remotely during our stay. Real Joy did offer a small discount for the inconvenience but caused unnecessary stress in what was supposed to be a relaxing vacation.

We had a great time and can’t wait to come back. The only issue we had was the internet connection, but management went above and beyond to help us. Everything else was perfect!

Wonderful stay!

This condo is in a great location. We rented a golf cart from Prestine Golf Cart Rentals and couldn’t be more impressed with the service and ease it added to our trip. The condo was clean and fully equipped with anything you would need from overstocked towels to any and all kitchen equipment and board games for a rainy day. The beds were extremely comfortable and the closest a were stocked with anything extra you would need. We can’t wait to come back and visit again.

Don’t understand

I did enjoy my stay!!! I was very disappointed in maintenance and cleaning!! We had to clean vacuum etc before anything. We asked for some cleaning for the windows we had cobwebs, black mold, so much dust you could not enjoy looking out of the windows. Not to mention cobwebs in the rooms dirty fans dirty carpets tile floor turned you feet black counters sinks all had to be wiped and food stuck beside stove. My husband found a mouse dropping in his bed. NO mouse activity in home. GFIS we not fixed in the kitchen we still had to reset them but the bathroom was better. The place was a nice condo we loved the area. Just feeel maintenance and cleaning need to step up. The would love to stay again my concern would be that I would run into the same problem. Real joy was so nice themselves. The price was fair but I feel my cleaning should be returned. Thank you for your time

Great family vacation spot

Upon arrival we were unable to figure out the locks on the doors and the bathroom plugs not working but had a quick response with the maintenance team and everything was fixed. The condo was very clean and just like the pictures. Elmo’s grill across the street had fantastic food and great service. The only negative to the stay was the neighbors downstairs that came and knocked on our door at 10:30pm to ask us to turn off our washer machine because it was quiet hours. (We didn’t realize washing clothes was breaking the quiet hour rules🙄)

Affordable and convenient

This was our first time to stay in a condo. We liked the overall size of the property (easy to get in/out and around) and the location. Listing photos were very accurate and price ended up being a little less than the hotel we normally would book with. Happily, the unavailability of the hotel, led us here and we are glad it did. Hopefully, we will be able to stay longer next time and get familiar with the local eating places.

Wonderful Property

The property was exactly what I was looking for. I was in town for a wedding and the location was convenient. I was very impressed with how clean the unit was, it has been very well taken care of. Location was nice and quiet.

Just as advertised

Cute little condo, 5 minutes from the beach, 30 minutes or so from Destin and the night life. The perfect little place to stay. Clean and well taken care of and a comfy bed.

good location in Santa Rosa beautiful beaches near by property was not as clean as i would have liked. found some food on rug near couch when we arrived. rug is old in living room area. needs to be replaced. toaster oven didn't work but had oven and stove top that did work along with microwave. needs some fresh paint too. overall stay was good.

Not a chefs kitchen

If you plan to eat out, you will be fine. If you plan to cook your own food, you can get by, however, the "pots and pans" are less than ideal. Other than that, the place is great!
