"If you're planning a trip to the Galápagos Islands and looking for a place that combines comfort, warmth, and great value, Verde Azul in Puerto Ayora checks every box. Our room was spotless from the moment we arrived — fresh linens, a well-maintained bathroom, and everything neatly organized. After long days of exploring the islands, coming back to a clean, quiet room made a real difference. The property itself is well-kept and has a relaxed, natural feel that matches the Galápagos vibe perfectly. The staff at Verde Azul genuinely go above and beyond. They were warm, helpful, and knowledgeable about the islands — offering tips on the best snorkeling spots, tortoise reserves, and local restaurants that we never would have found on our own. Nothing felt like too much trouble for them. That personal touch is what sets this place apart from larger, more impersonal hotels"

"We stayed at this hotel for a full week, and it exceeded our expectations in every way. From the moment we arrived, the entire staff made us feel welcome and well cared for. The hotel is relatively new, beautifully maintained, and offers a peaceful atmosphere with absolutely stunning views. One of the highlights of our stay was the delicious breakfast served every morning. It was consistently fresh, flavorful, and something we genuinely looked forward to each day. The staff were incredibly accommodating with any requests we had and were always happy to answer our questions about the island, offering helpful recommendations and local insight that made our trip even more enjoyable. We also loved having access to the complimentary kayaks and bicycles, which were a fantastic way to explore the area. A special thank you to Madelin and Denzel, who were exceptional hosts throughout our stay, though every member of the team was phenomenal. They even helped arrange our transportation to and from the airport, making our trip seamless and stress-free. The hotel is still completing work on a few rooms, but this had absolutely no impact on our stay. The property was well-kept, quiet, and comfortable throughout our visit. If you’re looking for a beautiful place to stay with outstanding service, excellent amenities, and a team that genuinely cares about its guests, I highly recommend this hotel. We would not hesitate to stay here again and look forward to returning in the future."
