"Welcome Binder" Instructions left for renters is a long list of "Don't do or else", which redsults in kind of a put off for feeling welcome.
House wiring is suspect (up to code?) Binder instructions even warn not to use microwave and oven at same time because it'll trip a circuit breakert! Also we discovered one can't use a hair dryer & curling iron at same time in bathroom as non-GFI outlet trips a circuit breaker...literature describes where to find two circuit breaker panels. Searching around finally found a 3rd panel hidden in a closet and able to reset circuit breaker. elect panel in a "closet" in garage has junk piled in front of it making it difficult to access. Circuit breakers are not labelled so you have to try them all until you hit the right one. Limited amount of bath,and hand towels in bathrooms. No towels in kitchens at all. It wasn't until we prepared to leave and per instructions, took used towels to put in the washing machine that we discovered the clothes dryer jam packed with towels, apparently left in the dryer by previous renters. Oven door in main kitchen does not close completely making it difficult to properly bake. There is no working can opener to be found in either kitchen. There are TV's but no DVRs for playing music or movie CD's. The only fireplace is empty, painted over and has gas pipe capped off. A gas log fireplace ensemble would have been nice for in the evenings. One bed was made with only one bedsheet. Minor things, but in sum total they detract from what otherwise could've been a perfect stay.
