"I highly recommend a stay here.
These are quiet and comfortable family-owned rooms set in Piano di Sorrento (about 4 km from the centre of Sorrento). It is a 6-minute walk from Piano train station.
It has a large swimming pool set in a large garden with good parking. There is a small number of staff, so you will have to plan your needs.
I highly recommend a visit to the family-run restaurant, champagne bar and hotel set in the hills above Sorrento (10 minutes by car). This serves...
"Small Hotel, lovely setting with a natural pool. Staff are fabulous, very helpful, providing recommendations for dining and trips. Amazing breakfast, lots of choice. Well situated very close to train station. We booked a deluxe room with balcony, views were spectacular. Would recommend "
"Giacomo was such a welcoming and thoughtful host. We enjoyed his homemade limoncello testing! He also gave us great recommendations. Our room was very clean and stocked with snacks and drinks from Giacomo. We will definitely stay here again if we are back in Sorrento! "
"The staff were very welcoming, top tier and helpful. The room was comfortable and just the right size. Great value. Great location. I would most definitely stay here again. "
"10/10 this is an amazing hotel with an owner who really cares about his guests! The views are gorgeous, it’s quiet, and the food is some of the best I’ve had on my entire vacation! Well done Gargiulo Resort!"
"This was such a lovely place, room, and experience. The view and room itself rivaled places my wife and I have spent triple the money on. Truly an exceptional visit"

"I couldn’t have felt safer as a solo female traveler than I did at Domus San Vincenzo. The building is secure, quiet, and spotless, which immediately put me at ease. One of my favorite parts was the beautiful garden with seating overlooking the port below—it was the perfect spot to relax and take in the view.
This was my very first trip to Italy, and the views from the terrace honestly took my breath away. Some may say the rooms are outdated but I found them simple and cute. The bed was a bit firm for my taste, but by the time 9 p.m. rolled around, I was so tired from exploring that I slept soundly anyway. The temperature in the room was comfortable at night, and I never had any issues with hot water.
Breakfast was a lovely spread of deli meats, cheese, fresh bread, pastries, coffee, and juice. There’s also a fridge available if you’d like to store your own food, which was really convenient. Do note there’s a curfew at 11:30 p.m.
It took me about 40 minutes to walk into Sorrento, though the bus is an easy alternative. You can grab tickets from any Tabacchi shop. There’s one about a 5 minute walk away. There’s also a grocery store about 15 minutes away. The port just below also offers ferries to Capri, which makes exploring even easier.
Overall, the location was wonderful and the atmosphere felt so peaceful. Staying here truly made my first trip to Italy unforgettable, and I’d happily go back again."
"Brilliant hotel for the price.
The interior is very modern, clean and spacious but the outside spaces are very traditional and picturesque, a great combination.
The staff were very friendly and service was excellent. The hotel menu is good and Friday nights they have a large outdoors pizza oven with tables set up under their mini lemon and lime tree grove.
The hotel was a 20 minute walk into the centre of Sorrento.
Would definitely go back and stay here again."
"We had a lovely stay at the Grand Hotel de la Ville. The staff were excellent, reception tea, helped me organise transfers and some great excursions. Dining and bar staff also very attentive. Good location."
"Our room was spacious, light and well furnished, the bathroom was also spacious and cleaned to a high standard each day. The bed was very comfortable. The balcony was a pleasant place to sit - in the sunshine during the morning and in the cooler shade later on.
The staff were exceptional - friendly, polite, helpful and always professional. They were very helpful when I sprained my ankle - providing an icepack and then calling for a doctor when my husband was ill.
The breakfast choice was also exceptional, as were the options for the evening meal on the poolside or in the Magnolia restaurant
The garden area was a peaceful oasis - it would have been nice to have more seating in the shady areas of the garden.
I would recommend this Hotel for its peaceful atmosphere and lovely staff. It was hard to believe that the busy Corso Italia was only a short walk up the road!"
"Property location the best, you have beach, many good restaurants, shopping . Hotel has character and beauty, view is spectacular. Great place to stay "
