"Nice environment and very beautiful view. Lots of nice swimmingpools and enough pool-beds for everyone. Easy to move by buses to everywhere (bus-stop nearby). Breakfast was very bad, no fruits or vegetables, only dry bread and biscuits. You had to ask for Croissants and sometimes you got only one croissant. No Wifi. "This property is beautiful, the only problem was a long journey from our room which was located quite a distance away from the amenities/pool/main property. The journey for BF or to pool/main service area, ANYTHING was almost a 7 minute walk up & down steep on-property road, inside and outside other buildings w stairs, past the cactus row, up 2 more flights - and this walk was recorded by my friend to send to husbands so they wouldn’t get lost. We did not stay in the “annex”, which I was told was across the street from property, but there are multiple different levels/buildings, etc. our room had a beautiful view & a generous balcony. We were shown other rooms after c/o of location but basically still a distance and rooms not as nice. The breakfast was excellent, the pool area gorgeous. The staff werenot too friendly, and daily charge for pool towels (2.5eu) a charge to purchase swimming cap (must be worn in pools), but I saw a woman wearing the plastic shower cap from bathroom and she was not asked to purchase a swim cap. There is a pool party once or twice week, for guests, and nice to dance. Drinks are accompanied by chips/nuts/taratelli, nice treat. If you are physically fit, used to hiking, have more than 2-3 night stay so you can learn the property, this is lovely place. It is close to a bus stop and you can walk to the beach (very carefully) using the road (stairs from property were too rough for husband). Lovely property but limitations."

"We had an absolutely wonderful experience here with kids! Sanny was very kind and helpful. He gave us information on the buses, recommendations for restaurants (with discounts for his patrons!), and even a discount for Negombo! I can’t say enough about how wonderful the staff was!! The large breakfast spread was delicious, especially the cappuccinos. The pool was perfect for the kids. The garden and terrace were beautiful and lovely for hanging around. The location was perfect for strolling into Sant’Angelo. It was also perfect for catching the bus to get around the island. I hope to be back one day!"
