I arrived after taking two buses from the bus station and using google translate I asked if there was anywhere to buy bread for my lunch. Memmet said he would go and get me some from the tiny shop next door. He came back with some flatbread and also gave me some tomatoes etc and a mug of tea to have with it. They also provided me with breakfast a little earlier than usual and gave me yoghurt and a banana as that is what I like for breakfast. To get to Toprak from the main bus station leave by the security exit,cross the car park and follow the Ceksi sign to a road. While waiting there to get a bus with the assistance of a local a no 72 signalled to us from the opposite side of the road and that bus took me to where there were lots of bus stances after the bus turns north again about a mile from Balikigol ponds area. Walking back westwards to Ataturk Bvd to go to Toprak I got on no 63 trolley bus southwards. You can pay by credit card on this 27 tl Returning the next day I got no 63 from one way street Sarayonu Cd to Ataturk Bvd five minutes walk ,you walk east. from the bus stances then from there no 61 to the bus station

Şanlıurfa gezimizde Toprak Otel’de konakladık ve beklentimizin üzerinde memnun kaldık. Otelin konumu çok iyi; Balıklıgöl, çarşı ve tarihi bölgelere yürüyerek rahatlıkla ulaşabildik. Özellikle akşamları dışarı çıkıp sıra gecesi ve yemek planı yapmak açısından büyük kolaylık sağladı. Girişte personel oldukça ilgili ve misafirperverdi. Resepsiyon hem hızlı işlem yaptı hem de gezilecek yerler ve restoranlar konusunda samimi önerilerde bulundu. Kendimizi turist gibi değil, misafir gibi hissettik. Odamız temiz ve düzenliydi. Yataklar rahat, banyo hijyenikti ve sıcak su sorunsuzdu. Gece sessiz bir ortam vardı, bu yüzden dinlenmek için idealdi. Klima/ısıtma sistemi de düzgün çalışıyordu. Kahvaltı sade ama yeterliydi; yerel ürünler olması hoşumuza gitti. Özellikle güne erken başlayıp Göbeklitepe ve Harran gezisi yapacaklar için pratik oluyor. Fiyat–performans açısından Şanlıurfa’da güvenle tercih edilebilecek, temiz ve merkezi bir otel. Tekrar gelsek yine tercih ederiz.

Şanlıurfa’ya dışarıdan gelip Toprak Konak sayesinde çok keyifli birkaç gün geçirdik. Temizlik gerçekten iyiydi, odada her şey özenle hazırlanmıştı. Kahvaltı lezzetli ve yeterliydi.
