"The room was poorly cleaned on our first day with stained carpets. There was never anyone around at the pool/sauna desk and nobody could explain if the sauna was included or charged so we didn’t use it. Breakfast was reasonable with good choices. A lot of children staying here so better for families I think. I would say that despite being in the four star section, it was more like a three star. No minibar or room service menu. "Great location & staff were so helpful & pleasant. The breakfast buffet was amazing & bed was comfortable. So all in all it is a wonderful spot to stay. We walked from the train station to the hotel with larger pieces of luggage (about 15-20 minutes) so that is do-able Definitely would recommend & stay again if in the area (stayed for 3 nights)"

"Hotel sauber aber ganz schön in die Jahre gekommen. Frühstück eine Absolute Katastrophe, 1 Kaffeemaschine für alle Gäste. Wartezeit von 20min sind normal um sich einen Kaffee runterlassen zu können. Frühstück geht bis 10:30 wir sind um 9 dort gewesen und es wurde bis Ende nichts aufgefüllt, es gab keine Eier, keinen Speck, keine Kärntner Spezialitäten mehr weil alles leer gewesen ist. Schlechtestes Frühstück seit langem und das in einem 4 Sterne Hotel? "

"Only 3 months old, everything was new, modern and clean. But the service and meals were exceptional. Full breakfast with creative list of eggs Benedict style options including a local one. The 3 course dinners also included local fare and were excellent. Also full bar with local made schnapps and extensive list of fantastic Slovenian wines. The service was also very efficient, relaxed and friendly so that we could engage the staff in conversation. The setting is a beautiful green farm village next to the local church and a bell tower that pealed throughout the day )but not all night). Hotel is in Sgornje Gorje, a short hike downhill to Lake Bled but far from the crowds around the lake. We were able to hike down to and around Lake Bled and up to the castle and back up to hotel. The area is green, hilly, surrounded by the alps and the sounds of active farms. Very picturesque. "

"Fantastic place to stay. 50 metres from the station/bus stop. Room was beautiful. - absolutely faultless. Reception were fabulous. We were very early arriving and our room was ready, so we were allowed to check in. Reception also gave us some milk for tea and coffee. Thanks a mill good people! "
