Welcome to "The Shed"! Historic Downtown Sanford's Premier Short-Term Rental. This adorable 1910 historic bungalow will meet all your getaway needs. Come with your toys because this property has accommodations for your bikes, trikes, golf carts, and mid to small fishing boats. Come hang out at the fire pit with a special someone and stroll down to the local restaurants, shops, and bars.
Downtown Sanford has a real Americana flavor of old and new. In the mood for good eats try The Original Christos or The Willow Tree Cafe. Have a night out just up the street at one of the many local breweries and cocktail bars that Sanford has to offer. If you enjoy fishing or just fresh water breezes on your face, Lake Monroe is waiting for you.
The Shed has all the comforts of home including a well appointed brand new kitchen, king size bed (with Purple Luxury Mattress. Search your web browser for Purple Mattress to learn more), washer dryer, walk in closet with plenty of storage, 2 TV's, plenty of dishes, towels, and sheets. The living room sofa pulls out into a full sized bed. The den has a lovely sitting area to kick back and relax with a good book and a bottle of wine. The front porch offers two beautiful white rocking chairs for that morning cup of coffee.

Historic downtown Sanford was established in 1877. In the 18th century it was home to a U.S. Army post, during the Seminole war’s, known as Ft. Mellon. Once renowned as the celery capital of the world, now Sanford. Sanford is encompassed by buildings from the 1800’s and 1900’s, brick paved streets, and can be found on the water front of Lake Monroe and the St. Johns River (1 of 2 rivers in the world to flow North).
