"We spent 3 nights here (myself and my two young sons). This cottage was plenty big enough with everything we needed and lovely and clean. The boys loved that they had their own floor with a shower room and also the best views of the harbour! The designated parking space was tiny and I had to pay to park in a public car park the whole time instead (at time of writing that is £9/24hrs in any car park, which isn’t bad). "I love this place! I booked the smallest type of room - the boot room- and the two of us found it spacious enough to be comfortable. Everything is spotless: the room and it's amenities, the bathroom, common areas, the staff clearly keep it to a great standard. There was zero sign that a dog had ever entered the hotel, nermind the room! I need to know your secrets to removing all traces of pet fluff! The staff are incredibly friendly, warm and personable. They couldn't do enough to help when needed, including looking for late night open shops on my behalf and cutting new keys when we left our original in the room 5 minutes after recieving it. Love the relaxed vibe, the 24 hour lounge, and the decor. We can't wait to return!"

"A very enjoyable stay at St Hilda's Boutique to celebrate our aniversary. We were treated to a free bottle of prosecco on arrival by the host which was a really nice and kind touch. We stayed in the Marrakesh suite which was really swanky, and has a huge jacuzzi bath. The host was extremely friendly and helpfuland we couldn't have asked for more."

"I LOVED this hotel. I’m a world touring cyclist and I love quiet and remote. This hotel was FANTASTIC. Idyllic setting high above the bay. Beautiful grounds. Lovely gardens. Stunning. The hotel just had a makeover and it looks beautiful! My room overlooked the sea—clean and comfortable and a great bathtub! Breakfast was plentiful and high quality. A dreamy stop as I pedal the UK. Many, many thanks! "

Crown Spa Hotel Scarborough by Compass Hospitality

"We were in room 302 which has a sea view and was very clean and well presented. My only comment on the room is it was very warm, it felt like the heating was on, even though the outside weather was 20 degrees and overcast. I was also a bit surprised at the additional £50 I was asked to pay on check in (????), although this is refunded when you check out. The staff are very nice and the hotel very good and I would recommend a stay here. The hotel is very high up and there are a lot of steps to climb if the tramway isn't working from the beach to the top of the hill. Overall I was very pleased with our stay at the Crown Spa Hotel and would certainly revisit."
