"We stayed here as a base for the Game Fair and it was a great location for that. We didn’t really explore the area much but we did get pizza from The Hertford which was good. There wasn’t any garden chairs and is it was lovely weather this was a bit amid a shame as the domino was in the courtyard a fair bit. The cottage was pretty, tidy, clean and cosy. "I had a lovely stay at this hotel , the only thing that disappointed me was there was a big cobweb above my bed on the ceiling which I would not expect to see , I did mention this to the receptionist and showed her the photo when handing my key in , apart from that the room was comfortable and had all I needed and I would stay here again in the future"

"Lovely start from start to finish. Even a standard classic room was a nice size, big bathroom and was comfy. Could not fault the food served for breakfast or evening meal - evening food was especially delicious. Didn’t use the pool facilities in the end but it looked a good size pool from going down to ask about spa prices on top of staying. Very well thought out for families staying - we don’t have children with us but have said we would absolutely return WITH the children. Lovely grounds to walk around too. Being near Silverstone is ideal for anyone wanting to visit the track. We walked to Sol wartime in about 30-45 minutes. The racing memorabilia in the Silverstone bar is a great touch for any f1 fan to look at."

"This hotel would of got 5 stars but the bathroom smelled of cabbage especially after the door had been shut, also the basin is set in a very large piece marble which meant my top got wet anytime I used it as I had to stretch over wet marble, it does not affect tall people. Breakfast is very good."
