"A wonderful escape, especially after 5 activity filled days and nights in a hot and crowded Rome. The property is beautiful, with lovely gardens, perfect sunsets and, yes, we had donkeys, sheep and deer for neighbors. The house is spacious and comfortable, uniquely furnished with works by Orvieto Craftsmen and murals featuring the gardens and the donkeys. We were 11, ranging in age from 4 to 78 and took full advantage of the amazing pool complex, including hot tub, sauna and misting showers....

"The two landlords are two loving elderly people who take touching care of their guests. The house is furnished with great attention to detail and hardly leaves anything to be desired. The mountain village in which the house is located is tiny but beautifully situated. If you want a quiet holiday, this is the place for you. The only downside is the 15-minute drive up the mountain on a road that is not exactly flat. However, I can recommend the house without hesitation and enjoyed my stay very...

"The house was a real gem - fantastic all around. Truly off-off the beaten track, peaceful, with all the amenities you may need. It was very clean, super comfortable and really enjoyable. We stayed for 7 nights and could have easily stayed longer. Lots of small villages to visit within less than 1 hour and Orvieto is also close. It’s a beautifully renovated hotel with great attention to detail, located in a fantastic spot right in the old town—peaceful, quiet, and full of charm. Free parking just a few meters away was a big plus. The bed was very comfortable, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was warm and welcoming. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, always ready and happy to assist. The highlight for us was definitely the swimming pool—absolutely fantastic, surrounded by greenery and perfect for relaxing on a hot day. Highly recommended!."
