「Room 300 is our favorite spot with a great patio overlooking Moonstone Beach. However, the room could use a couple of safety improvements. First, a rail or bar or grip of some kind to help older guests up/down the two big steps to/from the bathroom. And, in that room, a chair or bench next to the shower. There’s plenty of space. That’s it! Thanks for a great weekend!」

「Fireplace was amazing, jacuzzi tub was amazing, stand/sit shower was a nice touch, very clean and fresh smelling, forest view helped with fresh air. Staff was very nice. Location was prime with easy access to beach and local businesses. We will be back.」

「This was an excellent place to stay. The rooms are getting a little dated decor-wise, but are very clean and comfortable. The staff couldn’t have been more welcoming and thoughtful, and the breakfast (and all-day free cookies) were delicious and made us feel at home. Can’t recommend it highly enough. 」

「Wonderful overnight stay: clean, great location, easy parking, a quick walk to the town/Main Street, breakfast included, great value for price! José the gardener made our visit by letting us know about the different plants and flowers that they planted/maintain at the Squibb House. He was so friendly and personal-really made our visit such a treat! We will definitely come back when visiting Hearst Castle and the elephant seal rookery!」
