"We celebrated our 40th anniversary this weekend. The room was excellent with a lovely fireplace and an ocean view.. There was a ocean boardwalk across the street and lots of restaurants close by in Cambria..We did not take advantage of the free breakfast basket as we wanted to explore town."

"We loved our room with the windows overlooking the ocean. It was the perfect place to sit and relax. It was a large room so plenty of space to spread out. We loved the alcove with the coffee station, microwave and refrigerator. I know it’s difficult with the ocean weather and individual pane windows, but it would have been nice to have those a little cleaner so you could see out better"

"The view is amazing, the fireplace in the room was cozy. I absolutely love everything about the hotel except the bed. It was not comfortable. If you like a really firm mattress, then you will probably love it, but it could definitely be updated or at least add a thick pillow top. The room smelled a little stale so maybe a little bit of a room freshener would be nice as well. I absolutely would recommend the ocean view room to sit outside and enjoy the view. Even at night, it’s dark over the ocean, but the moon was bright and it was just relaxing to sit out there listening to the waves."

"Everything was amazing for our one week stay. The staff was great room was ample and the jacuzzi was perfect. Only minor complaint was when we asked to have our room serviced it never happened. Some people may freak out over it, we didn’t let it ruin our trip. We just cleaned up after ourselves and asked for more towels and toilet paper and a big trash bag and kept moving forward. The trash was collected so we had no real complaints. Breakfast was small but enough. They offered oatmeal, coffee/tea, yogurt, fruit cups and some delicious lemon bread or banana bread. Like I said it was amazing stay, we used the fire pits one night and had such a peaceful time. This place is perfect if you are trying to get away from the hustle and bustle of life. Even the lack of cell reception was a plus for me. WiFi was included and helped with keeping in contact with family but I loved how it blocked spam calls from getting through. Lovely is my best description of this place. Hope this helps someone."
