"We had an amazing stay at Marulivo. Its a beautiful wellperserved old building and the rooms are wonderful decorated. We had a room with a great view. The owners were superfreindly and gave us lots of wonderful tips around the area. "

"Wir haben bedauert, nicht einen Tag länger geblieben zu sein. Der Weg zu den Tempel ist nicht lang und somit ist der Standort günstig. Schräg gegenüber ist eine Bar mit netten Bedienungen, falls man das Frühstück nicht selber machen möchte."

"Posto tranquillo, tenuto sufficientemente in ordine con i proprietari disponibili e gentili. Una prima colazione buona ed abbondante e soprattutto con dolci fatti in casa ed ingredienti a km 0 . È un agriturismo quindi non si può pretendere pranzo o cena, ma quando cucinano lo fanno davvero bene. La piscina è tenuta bene e pulita, le stanze del primo piano sono comode ma la pulizia non è accuratissima, comunque niente che non si possa risolvere con un po' di organizzazione in più. "Historic 19th century manor modernized approximately for a lovely stay. War the museum and archeological site, yet away from the busy entrance cares. A wonderful restaurant that one needs to reserve for an exclusive chef directed dinner. Novel and well prepared. With special touches that Chef Luigi creates. Other excellent restaurants and bistros in walking distance. This boutique hotel is best for adults, but children would be fine —just not at the restaurant. Fresh fruit and chef-baked bread are part of the buffet breakfast as is home made cheeses and condiments. A great place to be after a day walking among ancient ruins and elegant temples."

"We arrived early at the hotel and we're allowed to park at the hotel while we walked to the ancient Greek Temples which were an easy walk from the hotel. The hotel had beautiful grounds and a nice swimming pool. The room was nice and clean, but simple. We atedinner and it was delicious, as was the morning breakfast. All in all a great stay and we would do it again. If you are going to see the Temples, it is worth a stay. "

"We were initially super excited to come to this hotel after seeing pics and it’s high ratings but when we arrived we noticed immediately that we were a burden. The staff was not as friendly as the other hotels and even though we were the only ones there (slow tourist season) every time I asked for something I was made to feel like I was bothering them despite the fact that I speak and am Italian. The biggest issue we had was the air conditioning and the shower drain. We completely understand that some hotels control the A/C and we absolutely understand that when they are fully booked they usually cannot accomodate but it was super annoying that even with few people staying the night and after asking for them to lower the temp in our room (they said they would and they didn’t!) it ended up being so hot and to add to our discomfort the window wouldn’t open. Just made for a miserable night. We went to the restaurant and it was literally a ghost town. We were the only two people there which is no fault of their own. Despite this, the food was delicious and restaurant staff were professional. The room itself was gorgeous but the shower drain was clogged and you had to shut off the shower mid way through or else it would spill into the bathroom floor. Parking was super convenient and the hotel is super close to the Greek ruins in Paestum. Overall average but wouldn’t come back again. "
