Stayed up here with my partner for our anniversary. The property was off the beaten path a bit, but easy to get up to. Michael was a great host and communicated very easily with us. Good guy and even got to chat with him a bit, was good conversation. Would come back!

A nice stay!

Hilltop views of vineyards and town, and easy access to way more wineries than we could ever visit! Hot tub was a great way to stargaze and end the day. Mike is a great host with varied interests and helpful ideas of things/places in the area.

Girls Trip

My friend and I took a short trip to try wine tasting for the first and found this gem! Our Host Michael was so welcoming and kind, even shared a glass of his OWN wine with us. My husband and I came for the Jelly Roll concert at the Mid-State Fair! We stayed here at the Cute Cottage and it was AMAZING!! Mike is such an awesome host and the property was stunning!! Everything was super clean and the bed is sooooo comfortable! The hot tub was the icing on the cake especially at night with the view! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place!!!

Stunning views

The property was described as a cute cottage but we found that the views were the standout feature. From inside the small building and on the deck with a hot tub we saw a lush valley with hawks flying overhead, so relaxing. Access to the property was easy and we liked our host’s laidback style. The location is prime; close to town and Tin City.

Greta place with an amazing view. Not far from town but you feel like you are far away from everything. We really enjoyed the quiet and would look for this place again when in Paso.

First time in Central Coast, horrible reason

Came to the area to attend friend’s husband’s funeral. First time to Central California Coast. Property among vineyards overlooking Paso Robles, beautiful property amidst other beautiful properties. Private and quaint, great place for wine tasting and visiting the myriad of wineries.

Great stay in beautiful setting

Favorite moments: sipping my morning coffee from the kitchen table, and looking out at the beautiful scenery. And, relaxing in the hot tub at the end of the day. This place had everything we needed: fridge, toaster, microwave, sink, plates, etc. The owner Mike was friendly and very flexible on check-in/check-out times. we will definitely return here next time we head to this area.

Relaxing Hillside Oasis

My mom and I stayed here for my 30th birthday Paso Robles trip and it couldn't have been better! The pictures really don't do it justice. The property was clean and the view was amazing! The hot tub was definitely an added bonus. Thank you for welcoming us into your home!

PR Cozy

Birthday Weekend

Second stay here and still love it ! Can't get better than the view , the hot tub and the room. We will be back again. Sad to see Chloe the cat was gone though (darn owls) Always a welcoming hello for us when we pull in too !!!

What a great location!

5 minutes from town, but a world away with great views of the valley. Could use a bit of an update, but very comfortable, if a bit chilly. (We visited in December, and the mini-split heater was not very good at keeping the place at a comfortable temperature all night.

Great Views, Nice Place

The views and location is perfect, especially if you're there for wine tasting, antiquing, concerts or the fair. Unfortunately, the hot tub sprung a leak the day before we arrived and was unusable, so hopefully that gets fixed soon. The place could use a good dusting and a few updates, such as the drip mat for dishes and ice cube trays, but overall it is a great location for a week or weekend in Paso Robles.

Everything was awesome, if you’re looking for a couple getaway spot this is a great option. Extremely private, beautiful views, and exactly what my wife and I needed. Mine was phenomenal, Siri messed up our directions and had us all turned around but Mike called me immediately and gave me verbal directions that got us right to our destination. 5 stars

Christmas Lights Festivals

Looked for a cozy private ranch type retreat with the amenities for cuddling up after long days of walking around and enjoying the Christmas festivals and wine. Found this place and it was perfect! The views were incredible to wake up to and kiss the day to the sunsets and lets just say that you have to see it to believe it. Let me include the HOT TUB with the sunsets was a most added bonus to my surprise getaway for my wife. It was most enjoyable. Thanks for sharing your home with us Michael! We will back!

It was superb. It was remote, quiet, and so secure we didn't even feel the need to lock the door! Everything was in good taste, a totally unique experience in a motel stay. Having a separate cottage was wonderful. Mike Spensko was the most gracious host one could hope for. The only issue we had was a little difficulty in communicating through VRBO.

Cute cottage checked all the boxes!

First time visiting Paso Robles and we couldn’t have been happier with this cute little cottage. Conveniently located near downtown and wineries galore, it also felt completely private and remote. The property views are stunning and perfect for sunset watching. The hot tub for star gazing was perfection! Property and amenities were just as described. Simple, comfortable, clean, and cozy. Mike was the consummate host and responded right away with any questions. He had recommendations for lots of local attractions and even offered multiple cards for complimentary tastings at nearby wineries. Would absolutely rent again!!

Expansive Views!

The location of the property is amazing. Hot tub and sunsets are phenomenal. Although the unit is next to the main house, it is still very private. BBQ is shared with the main house, so not private. The unit is a little outdated and has no wifi, but cell service is good and it is nice to unplug. The fridge, Microwave, coffee maker, and toaster are the only appliances, no stovetop cooking. Mike is a great host. He has many 2 for one tasting at local wineries available. He shared his own amazing Cabernet Sauvignon and good conversation.

Cottage is a lovely little getaway with a great view and a hot tub on the porch. It is perfect if you’re up going to wineries etc. it doesn’t have the full kitchen of a house, but if you just want some yogurt and toast or to reheat your leftovers it’s perfect. The owner, Mike, is super nice. We would definitely stay there again for sure. The only thing to know is the Apple map led us astray getting there, Waze was fine. Mike was very responsive and nice when we got lost from the bad map on our phone. It’s super central to the wineries and easy to get to once you know where it is.
