"Great location near Monteverde—close to hiking and nature, yet peaceful and private. One morning we even spotted green parrots from the back of the home, which was a lovely surprise. The property is new and well-maintained, with a smart layout that worked well for our family. We appreciated the 1.5 bathrooms and access to a washer and dryer, which made our stay more convenient. "Overall the stay here was very enjoyable. It is an older resort, but it is clean. The beaches do not have chairs / loungers on them. There were no people on the beach / in the ocean when we were there. So expect the pools to be busy. "

"We loved our stay here. The property was fantastic, with a view that cannot be beat. The service, cleanliness, wifi and concierge support was excellent. We were one of the few that didn’t have their own car and so relied on drivers to take us to La Fortuna and activities. This was about $70 each way and so just be aware this property is about 40 minutes out of town. The peace and quiet, however was lovely after a day of activities. Would highly recommend."

"Camino Verde was such a cute property. It’s not your typical hotel- it feels very homey and welcoming as soon as you walk in. The eating area also doubles as a “living room” of sorts with people hanging out there in the afternoons and evenings enjoying the free coffee, tea, and popcorn. The staff are excellent as well. Diego was so kind and helpful and was always a smiling face ready to greet us. My kids (and my husband and I) voted this as our favorite stay in Costa Rica due to all the factors listed above. "
