Our flight delayed for 6 hours and canceled at 11 pm (midnight in SJU). We called the hotel and asked if they could change our check in, because the next flight we could get on was 72 hours later. The hotel said no because we booked through Expedia we had to go through them and that our stay was no refundable. Expedia told us they would reach out to the hotel for a refund. The hotel denied the refund. Expedia and the hotel have our money and we got nothing. Very dissatisfied customer.

They did an excellent job of keeping the hotel clean.
The location of the hotel was in close enough proximity to the beach. The walk to the beach was dirty but I could deal with that.
The problem I had was the customer service. The morning front desk people were not welcoming at all.
Before I arrived I asked about a sitting area or a place for my luggage since I knew I was coming in on an early flight. I was assured there was a place to sit on property. Once I got to the property at 6am (with 2 children) I was told I couldnt sit in the lobby or on property. I could only leave my luggage in the hallway.
I sorted through my luggage on the street with my kids to get stuff to stay on the beach for 9 hours since I wasnt welcomed to sit in the lobby. The lady finally came out and told me that we could at least use their restroom to change.
After being on the beach for at least 6 hours (with my children) I walked pass the hotel. I stopped in to ask about any rooms open yet....only to see people sitting in the lobby area with luggage. Guess some people are welcomed to sit and others arent. Or maybe they didnt want us in the lobby that long.
Today was my check out day. I had found out that my flight was rescheduled for tomorrow. I went down to the lobby this morning while I was on hold with the airline.
Two ladies were sitting at the desks typing on their computers. When the phones rung they answered them and never once acknowledged me standing there for a couple minutes.

Very nice! Thank my thing is that we had insects in our room the second day we were there. But overall the property is well maintained and is close to a lot of places!
