The pros – fabulous location, beds, water pressure, and temperature after you determine which side the faucet is plumbed on.
The cons – Picked this hotel based on the location, price, reviews, & pictures. Pictures don’t reflect what the property looks like. The bones are there but the artwork and other niceties/fluff aren’t. The lobby sitting area photo is not the lobby. My son, who is 18, called our first room, #26, a jail cell. The beds were great but the mismatched furniture & lack of artwork on the walls made the room feel like a cell. The gray paint didn’t help.
The ceiling in room 26 leaked. Went to the front desk & told Ricardo. He promptly moved us to room #11. We had trouble with the hot water in the shower in room 11. It didn’t get hot when on hot, then tried cold (sometimes the faucets are plumbed in reversed) no luck. My son told the guy at the front desk, my son has named him Teal Nike Dunks SB guy, and he said “all of the water comes from the same place, if you don’t have hot water, no one has hot water!” He checked it and did the same thing we did but let the water run longer. The faucet was plumbed in reverse. Teal Nike Dunks SB guy attitude was inappropriate. My son was pissed.
The staff! On Expedia it says they are friendly. With the exception of Ricardo, the staff I interacted with were not friendly or helpful. Whenever I walked past the front desk, the young guys working were either on their phones, TikToc, one even pulled out a Nintendo Switch.
