Modern Apartment. In Town, Peaceful with A/C and Hot Water

Come relax at this Mediative Stay. Here, you'll be close to the center town and out of the chaos. It's significantly quieter in this area of town so you will be close to all the action and will get a great night of sleep afterwards. San Juan shuts the city water off often. The Stone Elephant has 3 water reserve tanks so your stay isn't affected by this.

Great Location:
- 3 min walk to Downtown (Restaurants, bars, grocery stores, fruit and veggie market etc.)
- 3 min to the SJDS beach.
- 5 min walk to the pier
- 2 blocks away from central park
- taxis and shuttles available to explore all of the beaches nearby

You can walk everywhere in town or take a taxi out of town. There is also street parking if you want to rent a moto or a car. (We offer better rates on private car rentals as well).

Things to note:
Nicaragua does experience power and water outages from time to time. It is a part of the lifestyle here and we all flow with it as it comes. Nicaragua doesn’t have a mail or email system so we aren’t given any notice when this happens, (we find out when you do). In the off chance that this happens during your stay, we apologize in advance as these outages are out of our control. That being said, we do what we can to make things more comfortable for you. The Stone Elephant has 3 water reserve tanks (about 3500L of water), so we tend to have water available when a lot of San Juan does not ❤️🐘😊.
No guests, parties, pets, or smoking in the building.

No food in the pool and PLEASE USE the SHOWER before going in. There are plastic cups to use in the courtyard.

Quiet time is from 9pm - 8am.

Please clean up after yourself so that everyone has a clean space to enjoy.

a pleasant stay

A very pleasant stay in a very clean, modern, quiet and welcoming apartment, well located if you want to be close to downtown San Juan. A few details though:- repair the shower head which leaks on the side, causing excess water consumption ;- there's no door between the bedroom and the kitchen, yet the latter has a window which is completely open to the outside (and which we can't close); so when we turn on the air-conditioning in the bedroom, it has trouble working efficiently, not to mention of course the excessive energy consumption this must entail (not very good for theenvironment)Apart from that, everything else was very good, and we'll probably be back..

"We had a great stay! The owner was responsive and readily available whenever we had questions or needed anything. Just a heads-up—if you're staying during a local festival or holiday, expect some nighttime noise from the town. It’s part of the lively atmosphere and not a reflection of the property itself."
