アクセスは良いが、バスルームが下水くさいことと、ゴキブリがいたのが残念でした。繁華街のカジノホテルなので仕方がないかもしれませんが

Nice hotel

The stay was good . But I had to leave 6 days early due to the Carona Virus. Nadia at the front desk told me on the phone, I would get a 6 day credit the next time I stayed at the Morazan. But I havent gotten an email stating that. Can Hotels.com get me an email staing that?

Like: Low nightly rate. Location. Free breakfast was pretty good. Most of the Staff were very friendly and helpful. Dislike: My first assigned room was right next to a bus stop. I felt like I was in the bus..but I got a transfer to another room which was better but still noisy for about an hour and a half while a truck unloaded cases of empty bottles starting from about 7:00 am. My room smelled like dirty socks (not mine). I asked for it to be sprayed. Lasted about 15 minutes. The only lamp in the room was wobbly and was very difficult to turn on. Bed and mattress were older than me....and that's old!!!!Room service was ok but menu was very limited. Other than that everything was fine.

I've been staying here few times in the past years, It's still a good place to stay as far as being close to everything in central San Jose and the price. However don't expect too much, this place was renovated about 3 years ago and now is ready for another renovation. the bathroom was clean but stinking really bad, i think the smell coming off the toilet or vent close to the sewer, little things like toilet holder and hand towel holder were missing, in which they could easily replace them!! Beds are Ok but there are lots of noise coming from out side bars & cars beeping at late night and early morning, so don't forget to bring your earplugs:)). The bar on 2nd floor is very good, drinks are cheaper than the next door bar in Del Ray!! Also the food is very good and their kitchen is open till late night, breakfast is very good too. Jackie at the bar makes sure your beer is cold. The front desk people are also nice & attentive to your needs, specially Carlos and Johnathan who speak good English:)). The casino is small and overall you'll get what you paid for. I'll be back:))

fun time in san jose

The hotel is perfect location, breakfast is free and good. only thing that make this hotel better is needs some more improvements and wi-fi come and go I stay here before I will stay here again.

No Internet access; they tried to fix it but it went down next day again so I was unable to work. There is no exercising room. All rooms have a stinky old blue carpet. Sheets and towels are very old and have stains. Furniture is from the 80s; drawers don’t close properly, beds are squeaky, and you can hear everything next door. Overall, the rooms need to be renovated, and need a deep cleaning.

The hotell is perfect close to the hotel Delray breakfast is free and good it is in downtown San Jose so you need to act accordingly and be aware not necessarily a place to go out at night alone like most places in San Jose but you can't beat the price or quality also ask for a room away from the roads because the traffic can be loud

My stay at Morazan.

The hotel is comfortable ,but a little noisy if your room is on the side of the street; such as rooms, 301 302 etc. You will hear buses, motorcycles in all hours of the night. The service is good. Security guards and receptionists are friendly. Oh by the way, if you want a professional massage go to the mall or a spa don't ask the heavy set man where is a good massage parlor you'll screwed like i did. Hope this helps. Chao

I was not happy with my room when I checked in. The room was small and not cleaned properly. There was a big tv in the room close to the entrance and shower that you could easily bang your head to it. I went back to the reception and asked for the room change. I was told there is not another one in my room category available but I can upgrade my room with 25 dollar extra. I asked for the discount but I was told only the manager can give it. So, I paid $25 as I had to. On the next day, the receptionist Mydia Mora talked to the Manager Zrika and I paid an extra 17 usd per night for the rest of my stay. The new room was much more better and spacy.

What I like in first instance is the staff, that make you feel like home. Very nice people and very professional. In every field you find that they do and excellent job: When you arrive Ricki, Nidia,Carlos or Jonathan in the reception:at morning a breakfast very complete and fresh with Fabiola, Paola, Alejandra or Marlon; cleaning the rooms Grizelda, Daisy, Grace make a right job and are always ready for you. The location is excellent close to almost everything Plaza de la Cultura, Catedral, Teatro Nacional and lot of important places just at walking distance. It's safe and has and excellent restaurant at very reasonable price. What are the inconvinients: the noise from the street, the furniture in the rooms needs a renovation and needs amenities like a mini-Frigidaire in the rooms, because at 11:00 pm the restaurant close and if you need to take a medicine or whatever you don't have the way to take it. Overall for the money I think it's the best hotel in San Jose. For the man looking for company they don't pay to bring them to the hotel.

Mini vacation...

Based on the attractive price of the hotel I was pleased with my stay. I did not have cold water in the bathroom sink. Not a big problem. I had an interior room so I did not hear the DJ music on Friday night. One must be careful when entering the room because there is a step down as you enter the room. The breakfast is made to order and good. The casino is part of the hotel for those interested. The location is great with lots of shopping and lots of restaurants in area.

My stay was find for being a budget hotel. It had private bathroom and even a balcony. The staff was friendly for the most part. Only issue was the street noise because it is in the city center but it was find for me. If you are sensitive to noise, this place is not for you. I enjoy my stay because I wanted to be I the city center and had all commodities of a 3.5 Hotel at a really good price.
