「The cabin was in a pretty location on the side of a small lake — but the location doesn't match that on VRBO which states it's in La Fortuna town. It's actually several miles out of town, which was a problem for us since we didn't have a rental car and there's no public transport serving the area. 「We wished we had stayed longer. This is a wonderful property, well maintained and the owners are close by. The back yard is beautifully landscaped and offers a full view of the volcano covered deck area and a small pool to cool off in. Beds are comfortable and the house offers everything you could need. La Fortuna is a hidden gem. I have been to CR over 40 times and never made it here. Great restaurants and activities and a wonderful place to relax when the day is over. Highly recomended.」

「We had so much fun here, and it was a wonderful place to come and relax after a day of activities. Very unique cabin, with porch right on the pond. 「The Ranch Villa Arenal is a gorgeous house and property. We felt at home and fell in love with Yadi the house keeper/cook and Joaquin the grounds keeper. Yadi cooked a delicious breakfast every day and Joaquin entertained us with tours of the working ranch. The Fortuna area offers many activities for all age groups.
