Great location as a base camp to mountain bike, surf and hike. Or if you prefer just gaze out on the harbor and watch the dance of the pelicans!

Beautiful views

Beautiful views and a beautiful home. Easy to walk to the beach and restaurants/bars/breweries nearby. Can’t wait to stay again.

House

The stove did not work I had to cook on 2 hot plates. In the photos it looks like a back yard but it is not part of the property. No way to access the water. No extra blankets. The refrigerator was hard to open. The house was very nice . I like that the house had a blender . The beds were very comfortable. The view was amazing to wake up to. Love the seals.

Great location but some problems

The home is beautiful and the location is fantastic. But we had some issues. Hours before our scheduled check in, we were informed for the first time that the range top wasn't working (we had planned on cooking most meals, so this was a problem). When we arrived, there was a dead bird on the floor next to the dining table. The two bedrooms share a hallway bathroom. It's a great house and a perfect location, but for the price, I expected more and received disappointedly less.

Great week in HMB

We enjoyed our stay with daughter and son-in-law in your lovely home. View is beautiful and HMB is charming. Love the scenic drive to/from San Francisco. Found a pretty state park up the coast a bit and the kids said the views from their hiking morning nearby were ‘spectacular’. Great round of golf at the Ritz Carlton.

Walk Everywhere!

This has got to be the best home away from home EVER! The space is absolutely amazing, which is obvious from the photos, and even better in person. However, I can understand the horn and sea lions could bother some folks, but we thought it fit with the ambiance of being so close to the marina, it's goes on day and night. If you don't want to drive, this place wins first place for walking anywhere! Everything we wanted, food, activities and beaches, were within a 10-15 min walk! We strolled to Pillar Point Harbor a few times. If you continue on the coastal trail it is amazing and goes on forever. As for the house, I REPEAT, it is amazing as the photos shows. Everything was super comfortable and fashionably modern. The kitchen was equipped with all the proper cookware... It's a total preference for me and we didn't cook while we were there, but I love the variety of non-stick pots AND pans of varies sizes! I appreciated all the power outlets and clean hotel decor in the bedrooms. The headboards and nightstands are very nice quality. My allergies are fairly manageable, but it tends to spike up when I'm at a rental and I didn't have a problem here!! I'm not sure if it's because they clean extremely well, or there's no carpet/rug or they don't allow pets... I SINCERELY THANK YOU. I love animals, but it wreaks havoc on my breathing. Thank you for an absolutely wonderfully memorable stay.

Great harbor views

Great harbor views and lots of restaurants in walking distance, so it made for an easy, relaxing weekend. We appreciated the welcome gift! Unit shares a parking lot with a separate second house, but we had our own parking spot. I brought toiletries based on a prior review but soap/shampoo/dish soap etc. was supplied. I brought ear plugs per a prior review but harbor sea lion/fog horn noises didn't interfere with our sleep. There is a white noise machine in the bedside drawer, but we didn't use it. The pull out couch was next to the kitchen area, which worked for our kids. There is also a king bedroom plus a bedroom with 2 queen beds. So much better than trying to squeeze a family of 5 into a hotel room!

Loved Everything About It!

An amazing property and management. We are fans of modern architecture/finishes so that was a big bonus for us. The views were gorgeous, great location, drive to/from the city so scenic. Will definitely be back. Thank you Jerry and Masaye for your attention to detail and excellent communication.

Wonderful Home!

This was our second time staying at this lovely home. It has been about 7 months since our last visit. We love this piece of paradise and hope that others love it as much as we do. One word of advice, bring ear plugs as sometimes the fog horn or sea lions can be a bit a loud.

New, contemporary-design house in great location--great for a family.

Though the newness of the house and location are great, this house is not quite suitable for two adult couples. Sharing a bathroom that is located in the hall between the two bedrooms is not what we expected. (The second bathroom is upstairs in the common area of the house.) In addition, the translucent sliding (hidden) doors do not provide the privacy expected by two adult couples. Even though the property is advertised as accommodating 8 people and having two king beds, there is really only one king bed in one bedroom and 2 queens in the second (very dark) bedroom. There are only 2 chairs on the balcony. Provisions were stark: no wash cloths, no dish cloths, limited number of bath towels, only one tea towel, no shampoo, bath soap, etc.

Living like a Half Moon Bay Local in Style (and what a VIEW)!

Wonderful and relaxing stay in a beautifully designed, gorgeous home! This is a high-end, gated property, on the water, with a beautiful indoor/outdoor flow (views, views, views)! There is lots of natural light (huge windows), and our party of four often found ourselves just soaking in the peaceful Bay. I was especially impressed with the finishes and fixtures in the kitchen and bathrooms - stunning! Our cars stayed parked all weekend, as anytime we went out to explore the town, we walked. There are plenty of places to take in the local scene and enjoy the yummy, neighborhood eats. Jerry is fantastic to work with….responsive and supportive of his guests’ travel objectives . He wants his guests to be able to unwind and relax. Check-in and check-out process was easy. Highly recommend!
