"Pros: After the explanations from Begona (the host), it was quite easy to find the apartment and get the keys. It is 1 minute walking from the coast path which we enjoyed the first evening. "The house is quirky but lovely and the hot tub an added bonus. The views to the mountains across the valley are stunning. It was a 15 minute walk into Teror which is a very nice mountain town. Manuel was a fantastic host who met up to guide us to the house (essential!), was available to answer any questions by WhatsApp and went above and beyond to locate and book a reservation in a bar in Las Palmas so we could watch the World Cup football on the way from the airport!"

"I was exhausted and wanted to check in early, but the room wasn't ready. The receptionist who spoke perfect english offered for me to leave my bags until check in which received much of my burden. The room was perfect - the view the balcony the quiet and I requested a coffee maker and it was brought right away. The staff were exceptionally kind and took extra care when I was in need. Highly recommend this hotel!"

"I always stay at this hotel when in Gran Canaria. I travel frequently world wide and Hotel Cristina has been the best hotel in terms of comfort, staff and amenities. Decent pool and buffet breakfast. Ideal location next to the beach and accessibility to shopping areas. Good transport networks locally and serving other areas on the Island. Would have liked tea making facilities in my room but to be fair I didn't ask for this."

"Beautifully renovated modern hotel, near the historic center. We were there 4 days and only got housekeeping 1 time. If you missed your chance for housekeeping, they did not come back. Great breakfast. Nice gym, although it could use a little more TLC. Like having sanitary wipes available. The lobby, bar, and all public rooms are in a very chic contemporary style. Desk staff was helpful. Room amenities were fine, but in a high-end hotel, they could be nicer, like less paper and plastic and more china."
