This place really is a gem. It's a perfect little bungalow steps from the beach (and very close to the bay side, too). The house is set up perfectly for a group, with nice bedrooms/bathrooms and large, functional shared space. They've got everything you could want for the beach itself - towels, beach chairs, umbrellas, toys, boogie boards, etc. The front patio has lots of comfortable seating. It's also unique in the area by being all on one floor, which was great for accessibility for our older family member (there are a couple of steps to enter, so need to be able to do that, but once inside all is on one floor). We found everything we needed in the kitchen. Will definitely return!!

The villa was ideally located. Just off the main boardwalk so we didn't have constant foot traffic in front (though that wouldn't have been a problem), close enough to coffee and ice cream and breakfast places, easy to access by car but off major streets. Quiet, comfortable, roomy, light, private. Parking was easy enough and quite secure (garage and additional space). Really a perfect spot for a family escape. Thanks!!!

Property was beautiful and had every single thing you could think of! Distance to the beach was perfect. We never parked in the garage because we had a large vehicle but there was a spot beside the house that worked. Decor was cute and the house was very clean. We plan to stay here again! The host responded promptly when we had any questions. Definitely a gem!

Delivers on everything

This is a great cozy home and a very easy stay. The outdoor fireplace and fire pit were great with some chilly evenings. Great family Beach House.

Our annual family retreat to Mission beach was tons of fun again! We have stayed in this beach villa several years and love it! The villa is clean with everything you need for a comfortable stay! As a result, we really just need to bring our clothes and a few personal belongings which makes life easy!

Great Place to Stay

Fantastic Villa

The villa was exactly what we were looking for. Villa's decor was updated and clean. It was very well stocked for all of our needs. Instructions and communication with host was great. Would definately stay here again!!

Summer 2024

If you’re looking to stay close to the beach this is a great place to rent. We have stayed here multiple times over the years and have never had any issues. The rental has everything you need, including two parking spots! Overall our stay was awesome as usual and we plan on staying again!

A little slice of heaven!!!

This is the best place I have stayed in SD. Perfect for a family and steps away from the beach. We spent most of our time outside in the beautiful front yard! Everything about the house is amazing and Liz was a pleasure to work with. Can’t wait for our next stay!

Wonderful!

My parents, husband, twins and I throughly enjoyed our stay! The house is clean, updated, throughly stocked with linens and extra cleaning supplies. Great location - close to the beach, restaurants and entertainment. We loved it!

Amazing Place in great location

Spent 9 nights in the house with my children and grandchildren. The place had everything we needed and then some. Enjoyed being close to a all the amazing San Diego fun.

Jersey Jewel

This home is a mission jewel! Not only beautifully decorated, it is also well stocked for enjoying the beach for all ages. We used the kitchen for nearly all of our meals and had every piece of kitchen equipment we could possibly need. Finding a great house plus two parking spots was an added plus Our family vacation included three generations and everyone was pleased with this home and its convenient location. Hoping to experience this lovely home again for summers to come.

A lovely home for our Christmas stay

This property had what was undoubtedly the best equipped kitchen of any of the many BBRO & Air B&B properties we have rented over many years. It was spacious & nicely furnished with generous seating space in living/dining areas. It was exquisitely clean, check in & out was easy & Liz thoughtfully set up a small Christmas tree that was perfect, given the season! We’d definitely stay again!

Just 1 block from the beach and great location. We were impressed by how well stocked the property was with kitchen, beach amenities and towels. Nice grill and outdoor space. Multiple TVs with Dish Network.

2nd Time here

We just love the convenience of location, the Uber cleanliness, and this house as all necessities. From beach toys to shampoo and condition to spices. The house is comfortable for all of our family and in a safe area. We love this cottage and enjoyed every part of our vacation!

Fantastic place in Mission Beach

Our family has stayed at Mission Beach several times, and this place was the best! All on one level, which means no balcony views but so nice and cozy, and easy to be together as a family. The place is beautifully decorated and well-stocked - we've never stayed somewhere with bikes before, and had so much fun with them. Liz was easy to reach with our questions. Highly recommended!
