Excellent Place

My business team travels on various contracts. This is our favorite place to when we are in San Diego because the house is in a very convenient location, it is exceptionally clean, and the property managers are very responsive and easy to work with.

The house was gorgeous and very clean. The location was not too far from San Diego, only a 20 minute drive and everything was just as advertised. There were so many supplies in the kitchen to use that helped when we made breakfast one morning. Lisa from evolve was so helpful! She was so quick to respond whenever we had any question and gave me her phone number to contact her during our stay. She was very accommodating. 100% recommend staying here.

Grandson Birthday

A great time was ha d, and the stay was made very enjoyable thanks to the home. A very spacious and luxurious place located in a quiet neighborhood. Would love to revisit. Would highly recommend this location, the host kept in touch thru text to make sure everything was going well.

The residence was absolutely wonderful. Everything was as advertised from all the outdoor amenities, well stocked kitchen, large gathering areas to the wonderful view. We would highly recommend.

Perfect for big family vacation!

We loved this home for our family vacation. Both living rooms have plenty of seating for everyone. The kitchen is fully stocked with every appliane and dish you could need. Plus they let you leave behind uneaten food. Of course we throw away the main things, but we always hate figuring out what to do with the unused new food you cant really take with. Weird point, but matters. The highlight of the home is the backyard. There are about 5 different seating areas and multiple gazebos! Of the pool and hot tub were great with a hillside view. The bedrooms arent huge, but adequate for needs. The master on the other hand in huge! The owners/managers were very nice and responsive. I never had to wait for a response. They immediately answred any questions. We would def stay here again, even without a big family!

Beautiful place…great time in San Diego.

Celebrated my birthday with family and friends (10 total) Perfect location…not too far from the highways. Plaza full of shops, restaurant, grocery stores, etc. Our host was very attentive to our needs (hot tub, propane, etc) Definitely recommend staying here. Beautiful property with amazing amenities.

Great stay for the whole family.

Our family had an amazing time here. From the moment we walked in we felt welcomed and everything surpassed our expectations. The property manager Lisa communication was great. The pool and spa were a great escape in the evening after busy days in San Diego. Would definitely stay here again and recommend.

Perfect Getaway

My framily and I had the best time in this home! It’s the perfect size for multiple couples and the location is excellent. The view is amazing, amenities are fantastic and service from property manager was great! Would highly recommend!

Perfect!

My immediate and extended family all met together and stayed in this beautiful house in San Diego. It was perfect for what we needed. Amazing views, spacious, relaxing, clean, and only a 25 minute drive to every place we wanted to visit. Lisa always responded right away when I would text questions and Sue arrived to greet us and even brought us home made egg rolls one night. A fresh bowl of fruit was waiting for us on the counter when we arrived. Plus so many more little touches that made the hospitality superb! We can’t wait to go back!

Nice house, overall good experienxe

We enjoyed staying at this property. It had everything we needed, although we could have used more wash clothes for the kitchen. I think there was just 2. I do laundry everyday so we were able to manage, but we had to use bathroom wash clothes about everyday. We were there over Thanksgiving and it was cool for half of the week, so it would have been nice if the pool was heated. We weren’t able to use it, but did use the hot tub several times since we had to pay a required $35/day fee to heat it! We were also not able to use any of the fireplaces, inside or out, because there was no key to start it. When we called the property manager they said it was “broken”. The property manager brought us a pan of egg rolls, and other Asian food on Thanksgiving that was so yummy. A really nice gesture. We really enjoyed that.

Absolutely Amazing Vacation Home!

We had a family reunion, 6 siblings, at this property in October 2019. The pictures on the listing don't do it justice. The house is incredible and the views can't be put into words. I fell in love with this place and I would go back in a heartbeat.

Amazing experience

Just getting back from an amazing experience at Sunset Villa, San Diego CA. 3 family's under one roof and fabulous time. The home is very spacious so much room, we never felt cramped. The pool area was amazing, awesome pool and BBQ area. No one wanted to leave the house and when we did we dreamed of returning to it. Positives: Clean, large, everything you need in a home. View was lovely. We had the pleasure of meeting the woman in charge of the home for the "owners" Sue. She was awesome, so sweet helpful. Loved her. Made us two platters of food and cookies on two different days. And it was delicious (bonus). Negatives: we had to go home. I cant say anything bad about this experience. I would highly recommend. This was my first time renting a house for vacation. I am very picky (ask my family) this was fabulous.

Getting Together

Accommodations were very nice. Of course the pool looked much bigger in the photo than in real life. I couldn’t get the large Barbecue to work. The tank was empty and even after changing it, it wouldn’t start. After looking at the burners and internal structure it needs to be replaced. The wine cooler frig didn’t work either. There was a large accumulation of rat poop along the pool which wasn’t surprising due to the exposure to the open field... but disturbing just the same. The location was easy to find and easy access to the freeway to get to other locations. Just disappointed it wasn’t closer to the beach... but we knew that coming in. The view was very nice. It was perhaps a little higher in price than it should have been due to maintenance issues and more remote location, but we all had a good time.

When the hot tub pool pump broke, the management was speedy and very responsive in getting it repaired...they were welcoming and efficient..this is a wonderful family vacation home..

Great house....but rat in the pool....disgusting experience

The property and house are excellent and very comfortable and in very good location. It all started very good. But the day after we checked in I saw a rat in the pool and I felt sick to my stomach. Small kids in the family were playing in the pool day before. The worst part of experience was - when I texted the picture of rat in the pool to property manger. The response I got was "Happens all the time, we just take skimmer and scoop it out". I thought that was very casual and callous. No sorry that it happened or it must be terrible to see that OR anything like that. If this happens all the time as manager puts it, I do not recommend staying at this property.
