Not worth it- DOUBLE CHECK THAT THE POOL IS OPEN!!
THE POOL WAS CLOSED OUR WHOLE STAY. I ASKED ABOUT IT AND HOST SAID THEY WOULD CHECK ON IT. WHEN I REACHED OUT AGAIN BECAUSE THEY NEVER GOT BACK TO ME, THEY DID NOT RESPOND AT ALL. Hot tub was luke warm and when it did start to work there were too many people in it. Good location, 2.5 bathrooms, and the AC worked good. Was close to many stores and everything we wanted to do. Trying to communicate with the host after I booked the place was an unpleasant experience. They did not answer several msgs and when they did it was short seemingly rude responses. Checking in was a HASSLE! You have to use a call box to get into a room w/ an elevator to go up to the apt. to get a fob you need to open the gate to park (also need that fob for getting on main elevators).Call box didn't work for us and the elevator was out of order anyway. We had to wait for someone so the gate would open.Upon entering, the furniture was completely different. The rooms were not set up the way they were in the pics. Couch was different. I double-checked the ad and the pics of 1 bdrm showing 2nd bed set up had been taken down.The wording was changed to reflect the actual amount of beds. One pic showed a dresser in the closet but there wasn't one. Kids lived out of their bags for 10 days. There were stains and holes in the walls. No coffee maker. 2 salt, no pepper. No hygiene items, no paper towels. Wifi kept going in and out. Water pressure in the shower was not good. Had more issues but review has a limit!

Good stay & could be better!
This place was a good stay for my family of 7. We had 5 kids all under 17years of age and they enjoyed the pool and gym. Checking in process was easy. Quite the walk from the parking spot to unit because the elevator right next to it was out of service. When we got into the unit, there was a strong smoke odor. We contacted the owners and they had the cleaning crew come out right away and do another round of cleaning but forsure those carpets needs replacement. Furnitures on balcony need some attention. Communication with owners was easy and he was quick to respond. There were broken things such as the bed frame, lamp switch, a frame (left exposed on the closet shelf), cabinet handles, patio light, and shower curtain rod. All were addressed to the owners upon arrival. Noise wise, it was a quiet area but did here upstairs unit if they were running and jumping in the unit. Location was a bit challenging to get into because it is right off the highway. One thing I find challenging was how the door unlocks itself if the handle is touched. So, it was a safety concern for me since I had little kids and their was only 1 lock on the door. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here and the price was within our budget.

The property worked well for our family of 5 (Kids:1yr, 6yr,8yr). We loved the pool and the multiple bathrooms. The property needs some TLC. Lots of broken cabinet knobs. Needs new pots/pans and broken knives. Nothing big. One upsetting thing was no hand soap in the bathrooms. That is the first time I’ve encountered that with a vacation rental. One thing to note: at check out, we were cleaning and washing the towels. We were packed up and headed out the door at 11:10. 10 minutes after check out a man rang our door bell and asked if we’re were leaving. This is after I texted the 2 Numbers I had for the rental company explaining we were rotating the towels to the dryer and running a few minutes late. Well, we headed out then but the man hovered in the hallway until we all got out the door. It felt intimidating-the opposite of welcoming or thanking us for our stay with them. That was the Main complaint. All in all, the condo and the pool were a good space for our family. Would we chose to go back? Probably not do to feeling kicked out and intimidated after we spent the whole morning cleaning, doing laundry, taking out the trash, stripping beds, etc. all to make life easier for the cleaners-who we had a lovely interaction with at check in.

Convenient to drive to San Diego attractions
The property was fine. The check in process wasn't quite as bad as some of the reviews, in terms of so much walking, but it wasn't entirely clear. I was given two numbers to call from the complex call box. The first number didn't answer when I called. A delivery driver let me into the secure complex as he left, so I didn't try the other number. The apartment was not a luxury apartment - there were a few cabinet fixtures that needed to be screwed in and there was not quite enough soap for all the bathrooms. The key fobs didn't allow access to the pool area and lounge/game room. Future guest will be set, as I got two new fobs from the complex office, that work great. But, we lost two days of possible pool time because it took so long for the management to tell me to go to the complex office - I wasn't able to ask via their system on my phone - I had to wait till I was back in the unit and ask with my laptop. Then, the response came from someone in a very different time zone, much later than was useful. But the place was pretty convenient and had enough beds for my family, so it worked fine.

Great location. Very difficult check in/out process.
Well located to almost anything in San Diego. Convenient to shopping, old town and airport. Check in/check out process is very difficult. Keys and garage fob are kept in the unit. You must find a place to park (very limited), call the manager on the garage gate phone (difficult to hear with the heavy traffic). He called me back from a Minneapolis number. Once you find a place to park you need to walk to the unit on the opposite side of the 5 building complex to get the key/fob to get into the garage. Same process, reversed, for departure.

Great place to get away
Great place to stay. Plenty of room for everyone, 3 bathrooms were a bonus, and a designated parking spot made it easy in a town where parking can be a burden. Closest elevator was out of order but wasn't a deal breaker. Would definitely stay again.

Good stay
Family of 4 stayed one week for a last minute athletic tournament. Nice updated condo. Fully functional and comfortable. The property met all of our needs. Across the street from Fashion Mall. Downtown, beaches, San Diego attractions a short drive away. Thank you.

Better than expected
The property was very clean & comfortable. It exceeded my expectations & I was very impressed. The owner allowed us to check in early after the airline changed the time of our flight after booking. I have no complaints & appreciate the experience!
