3 bdr, 3 bath Home Walk to bay, ocean, restaurants and shops!

Our vacation beach rental home is a 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom tri-level home with each bedroom and bathroom on separate levels. Each bedroom has access to its own bathroom.

We purchased it approximately 10 years ago and have totally remodeled it inside and outside. The kitchen has new cabinets, granite counter tops, stainless gas appliances. The home is naturally very light with all new dual-pane vinyl windows, doors and skylights. The bathrooms have new cabinets with granite counter tops, new vanities, lights and mirrors.

We provide lots of toys for both inside and outside! Bikes, Boogie Boards, Beach Chairs, Sand Toys! Each room has a flat screen TV, DVD players, Cable TV. We have plenty of games, cards for family time! There are 3 decks for Mom and Dad to enjoy a glass of wine or coffee in the morning. We also have a patio area facing the alley with a full table and chairs. Don't forget the Weber Gas BBQ.

The Master Bedroom has a king-size bed and its own private deck with views of Mission Bay. The Middle Bedroom has a double bunk bed with twin on top and pull-out twin trundle bed on the bottom. The Lower Bedroom has two queen beds.

All mattresses and linens are high quality and the mattresses are Sealy pillow tops. We have travertine tile in the entryways, kitchen and bathrooms. There are 3 decks and an outside patio in front for enjoying coffee or a glass of wine.

The 2-car garage has direct access to the home. The garage is stocked with 4 adult bikes, 5 boogie boards, beach chairs and towels. The natural gas Weber Gas BBQ is located off the kitchen on the second floor kitchen deck. We provide a dual 2.4 Ghz./5 Ghz. WIRELESS high-speed router, wireless printer, televisions with DVD players in each bedroom and movies (at least 25). The washer/dryer is located in the double garage.

We provide a baby high chair, umbrella stroller and pac n play for the very young.

Within a short walk are several local restaurants, delis, coffee shops and more. These restaurants are not chains, but local! The restaurants include The Mission, Saskas, Rubicon Deli, Pizza and more! Major grocery store shopping is approximately 1/2 mile north on Mission Blvd.

The house was nice and the garage fit our bigger suv. Lots of stuff for guest to use (boogie boards, bikes, tvs, towels etc...). It was clean and had easy access to the beach and the bay!

We truly enjoyed our stay. It is a fabulous location, the garage was fully stocked with all the beach extras. The housekeeping service did not do a great job but when brought to the owners attention she addressed it immediately.

Great home

We had a great time celebrating the bride to be! Enjoyed the large table to feed everyone, the large master bedroom to relax in and watch movies, the quiet location, the garage space for two vehicles, the supplies in the kitchen and the care that goes into making it a cozy feeling and fun place.

A girls trip for me and my sisters. The location was amazing! Walking distance to some wonderful restaurants, shopping and the beach. Ready drive to airports and other shopping or entertainment. The house and beds were comfortable and clean and we thoroughly enjoy our stay.

Location was perfect, right in the middle of beach and bay. Supermarket less than 1 mile away, restaurants very close by and walkable. All SD attractions were 15-20 mins max from the house. Joanne was a great host and very easy to get a hold of.

Great stay!

We were there to celebrate our son’s SDSU college. We loved having the option of being on the calm bay on day and then the ocean a short block away in the other side. The bikes were fun to take out on the bike paths. Many places to eat a short walk away. Mission Beach is a happening place with close living. Alley is narrow and can be hard to get two cars in. We were able to do it with a Tesla and Honda CRV. Nice to have a secure parking spot.

The location is great, plenty of towels, paper products & kitchen supplies. Measuring cups were the only thing missing. Having four bikes was great, lots of chairs for the beach and sand toys for the kids. They even had plenty of beach towels. The washer & dryer were a big plus. We weren't able to park both out vehicles in the garage unfortunately. One was a Highlander the other a Tesla. We ended up parking over by the Marina overnight which was not a big inconvenience. The furniture in the living room was mostly patio furniture, which wasn't very comfortable so we didn't spend much time in that room.

Awesome house, great location

My husband and I stayed here May 2025 with our 3 kids-ages 10 months 5 and 8 years old, and my mom and mother in law. This house was the perfect size for all of us and had everything we needed. There were a few minor issues that came up, but Tom and Joanne fixed them immediately. The location of the house was awesome. A 1 min walk to the Bay and a 2 min walk to Mission Beach. The bicycles and sand toys made the trip even better. I will absolutely be staying here again.

Awesome location in Mission Beach

My family and I had a great time for our Christmas vacation. The house is in a great location between the ocean and the bay. Having each room with it's own relative bathroom on separate floors was super convenient. We would love to visit again.

Best location on Mission Beach

Home was in a great location in the narrowest section of land between Mission Beach and Mission Bay which made it a short walk to get to both sides. The communication with the owner was excellent and home was as described. It was nice to have a bedroom on each of the three floors for differing bed times. The home is well stocked and this is the first vacation rental we have stayed at that we did not need to purchase additional toilet paper and paper towels.

Nice place, great location!

Perfect location, right between the beach and the bay. Very walkable and very close to many restaurants, a mile from the grocery store, and was only about 15 mins from everywhere in San Diego that we wanted to visit.The house itself had all the amenities we needed and the floor plan was nice with an area for everyone to spend time together but also gave everyone their own little space. The host was also great and very quick to respond with any questions or information on the area!Thanks so much!
