The home borders Angelina National Forest and is located approximately a mile from Sam Rayburn Lake and surrounded by plenty of tall trees. Hunting and fishing offer prime outdoor recreation here. You will be within 20 miles of San Augustine, which has everything a guest would need: supermarkets, gas stations, restaurants, and shopping centers. Find great local attractions within a short drive, including Bannister Wildlife Management Area, Jackson Hill Park, Harvey Creek Park, Cassels-Boykin Park, and Sam Rayburn Reservoir (42 miles).

This charming home welcomes you with an inviting living room with comfortable sofas and a smart TV with streaming services to keep you all entertained. DVD and Blu-ray players with movies are available as well. Show off your cooking skills in the well-appointed kitchen, complete with all the major appliances needed that will make cooking a breeze. Attached to the kitchen is a laundry area with a washer/dryer for your laundry needs. When it comes to outdoor entertainment, the home enjoys a covered front porch with seating and a firepit surrounded by inviting chairs. Additional perks include a mini-fridge in the living room and board games.

Guests are encouraged to bring their own water. This property uses well water and is equipped with a filtration system to improve water quality. However, due to the natural characteristics of well water in this area, there may still be some residual discoloration in the water, even after filtration.
This home is in a rural place and can have spotty cell service. There is satellite internet available, but it can be disrupted by weather and overuse.
The photos in the gallery showcase nearby Townsend Park and the lakefront, just a 7-minute drive away. This is not a lakefront home.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
