"Amazing place, incredible service and wonderful staff. Not a typical hotel stay. It’s remote and on its own incredible property which makes it special. The staff is always available for your needs, the rooms are clean, beds are comfortable and food was delicious. Extremely satisfied with my stay. "

"The property was so clean and the staff was extremely friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel.
The only thing that really shocked me was the price of the buffet breakfast $42
I think this is very expensive."
"This is a clean and modern hotel. The rooms are quite small – and the beds were doubles, not queen size – but it fit our needs for a one-night stay and the layout is efficient. The pools were especially excellent: clean and refreshing. Dinner and breakfast were tasty, although the former is a bit pricey.
Minor pieces of feedback for management: 1) Sinks need pressure reducers, 2) Showers need better seals as they leak onto the bathroom floor, and 3) Airport shuttle was 15 minutes late to the scheduled time.
Overall, we had a very satisfying stay and slightly preferred it to the Hilton nearby."

10/10 Excellent
"Amazing staff!! Daniel, Kevin, Fernanda, Eduardo, Rocio and Anthony were amazing at and around the pool bar, food and activities, always courteous and polite. This was our second stay at this resort and Love it!!! Thx to staff at the Family section"
"This resort is an amazing place to stay from the start of booking, the drinks, the food, the room, and wonderful location! Highly recommend staying here as you can get to all the nearby spots for adventures."
"Boyeros has a beautiful courtyard full of mature trees with a lovely pool. The staff works hard to keep the pool skimmed and the grounds maintained.
The free breakfast was tipico- Gallo pinto, eggs, plantains, and sweet corn pancakes, with fresh fruit and various baked goods. We thoroughly enjoyed it.
The air conditioning works well, the room was clean, and the beds comfy (sidenote: I like a firm bed). It was really nice to be able to book a room with three beds."
"Came here as part of a family trip and honestly wasn't sure what to expect from a boutique hotel tucked into the jungle.
Left completely blown away.
The staff is what sets this place apart, from the front desk to the restaurant team — is genuinely warm. Not "hotel-trained warm," but actually present and attentive. They remember your name, they check in on you, and they do it without being intrusive, they go above and beyond on multiple occasions. You feel like a guest in someone's home, not a room number.
The food at Almar is seriously no joke. I've eaten at some great spots and this restaurant punched above its weight in a big way. Chef Hugo puts real thought and care into every plate — local ingredients, clean flavors, beautiful presentation. And breakfast every morning was something I actually looked forward to.
We ate there every single morning and never got tired of it.
The daily yoga class was a nice surprise too. I don't have a regular practice at home but I showed up most mornings and it genuinely added something to the trip. The instructors know what they are doing and makes it accessible no matter your level. Hard to beat starting your day with that, surrounded by jungle.
The vibe here is intentional — slow, calm, adults only. If you're looking for a party hotel, this isn't it. But if you want to actually decompress, eat really well, and be taken care of by people who actually seem to enjoy what they do — ESH is the one."
"Female manager was very inconsiderate to caution a group of girls for being too loud at the pool bar , this is expected and encouraged at an all inclusive resort
Killed the vibe for the rest of the stay"
