「Absolutely stunning visit. It is a beautiful building with so many delightful little touches. Her choices in furniture and art are very unique. The dock is an amazing view and being able to climb in and out and go to the hot tub is incredible. The hot tub is not the most powerful but it is more than made up for by the spa pool! 「The Cottage and Castle is absolutely charming, beautifully decorated and situated in a lovely neighborhood of colourfully painted houses and As well it is anIt’s a real gem. However as we returned after an evening out the stench in the air from a soil, composting, wastewater and recycling treatment plant was overwhelming. I there is a solution to this as Chemainus is a charming town and the Cottage and Castle was exceptional! 」

「The kitchen was not equipped with enough kitchen ware, dishes and cookware. No garbage bags, watered down dish soap. Sheets were ripped on the pocket, we felt they were not recently washed. We had to wash all the kitchen stuff, towels and sheets. It was a great location, safe and convenient. They just need better cleaners and housewares to match the other great parts of this suite and I would give it 5 stars.」
