Great location, budget friendly. Room looked modern, bed was comfortable despite lacking a fridge, coffee, and having a weird shower. Almost didn’t book because I needed airport transportation, but found downtown Salt Lake has an amazing (for the USA) train that goes directly to the main terminal every 15 minutes. Lots of great restaurants nearby. Will definitely stay there again in the future.
It's a nice enough motel. Relatively quiet, room was clean. I was in town for a conference at the Palace Convention Center and it was an easy (and nice) enough walk.
Simple, clean, easy access to getting around SLC. I was traveling alone, and for the cost this place was great. First night, I had some upstairs noise, but 2nd night was quiet and restful. Staff was friendly and was good to respond to my requests. If traveling with my wife or family, I'd probably want something with more amenities, but for this trip Park Inn was fine. I would stay again if traveling on my own.
Good experience with no issues. Good location and easy to access.

Unfortunately, cleaning was an issue and a strange smell from the bathroom too. Sure, the staff was friendly and tried to help, but it just made the stay a bit unpleasant. The location is very convenient though.
I rated it a 4 very comfortable beds and pillows stayed one night only down fall bed was literally right in front of air conditioner so I had to shut off cause it was blowing right on face when sleeping then got stuffy so turned back on slept with covers over over my head no irons or iron boards in room had to ask for iron and had to wait for others to use iron and return it back to office before we got to use it didn't know if we had time to iron our clothes due to the wait every one was there for a graduation but other wise not a bad stay just need a few adjustments staff was very friendly
Fresh remodel, still a few things to complete however the bed was comfortable, and the ac worked well. Quiet and safe area downtown. Great value for the price.
The air conditioning worked great, the room was decorated and painted nicely. Mostly things were in good order. Only problem was a pair of underwear left hanging in the bathroom from a previous guest. Was a little confusing getting into the parking lot but we are from out of state. It was nice getting to choose our floor we stayed on.
Reception staff were really helpful, room was clean and we'll maintenaned, you can tell it's been recent refurbished. My only negative was there was no hairdryer on the room or available which I only found out ONCE I'd washed my hair, a little frustrating. Overall great value for money and decent location.
Air condition was amazing, safety was good it was a gated area and felt safe. Beds were comfortable. Enjoyed the quietness-was on 2nd floor. Not a lot of noise or people wandering. The only complaint we had was the bathroom was dirty. Used hand soap bar left in shower. Dirty shower curtain (looked like mud on the shower curtain) No body wash in the container in the shower. The floor in the room was dirty. My socks were black when took them off. Probably need to sweep and mop the floors.
Price was great, the breakfast was good - continental breakfast,
The property is a recent renovation take over from a pre-existing motel 6 structure and business. The changes have been an improvement, and the upgrades are basic and economical, yet functional and comfortable. For best stay here are some key points…
Stay on the first floor for the best room temperature and air flow (heat rises)
PICKLEBALL! Bring your pickleball gear or use there guest paddles to play on there pickleball court!
No room refrigerators, so don’t pile up the leftovers to eat the next day for breakfast.
If you’re a guest who likes extra towels and linens ask in the morning before heading out, because after the maid service does their rounds around checkout time, it can be difficult.
They provide, lotion, shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner, which are all decent quality, so plan your toiletries accordingly.
The neighborhood is in development and transition, but it is trying and has a good vibe. Little walking neighborhoods near by and public transportation is very close. There is a good GAY friendly neighborhood / district near by as well (in development)
Plenty of parking for those on a road trip or driving vacation, so no worries!
The hotel itself was nice, clean, and comfortable, and I enjoyed my stay overall. Unfortunately, my experience with the front desk left a lot to be desired.
When we checked in, we gave the front desk agent a card to keep on file. She specifically told us she was not going to charge the card, but then she attempted to charge it anyway. When the transaction didn’t go through (I assume because of a fraud alert), I asked why she charged it after saying she wouldn’t. That’s when she explained there was a required deposit, which had never been mentioned beforehand. We were fine with paying a deposit, but clear communication would have avoided the confusion. She also never told me the total amount before processing the payment.
I also think a $250 security deposit is excessive, especially for a property that was previously a Motel 6.
The next morning, around 8:00 a.m., we asked if we could extend our stay by just one more night. Instead of simply extending the reservation, we were told we had to make a brand-new reservation and pay another $250 deposit. I’ve stayed at many hotels and have never encountered a policy like that.
The property itself was pleasant, but the lack of communication and customer service at the front desk made the experience frustrating. With better transparency and staff training, this hotel would have earned a much higher rating.
