Casa Tortugas - a Cozy, Relaxing House in a Gated Oceanfront Resort

Perfect for small families, Casa Tortugas is located in a gated community. There is an accessible heated pool and tennis court walking distance from the house. The terrace has a beautiful view over-looking the ocean, and a small back and front yard with seating areas and a firepit. Inside the newly renovated house there are three bedrooms, one king bed, one queen bed, and a full size bed. The master bedroom has a full bathroom. The second bathroom located in the hallway, is shared by the other two bedrooms. The kitchen is fully stocked with essential kitchen utensils and appliances. It has a dining table for 6 guests. The living room has a Roku TV, couches to lounge around and Wi-Fi available. The house is located only 40 minutes away from the San Diego border, 20 minutes from Ensenada, 20 minutes to the nearest public beach and 25 minutes from the famous lobster town of Puerto Nuevo. IMPORTANT! Due to current COVID restrictions certain amenities such as the community pool and tennis court are unavailable.

Great Communication

The host was excellent in quickly responding to any questions or concerns that we had. When we arrived, there were issues with pill bugs (aka roly-polies), which are common to this area at this time of the year (end of May). The host was very responsive to our concerns and immediately rectified the issue for our group. It is also a short walk to the Bajamar golf course (5 - 10 minutes), which made it very convenient for our party as we took a shuttle service from the border. The accommodations were also exactly as advertised. A great/convenient location for a weekend golf getaway.

2nd Rental for Baja 500

We stayed at Casa Tortuga last year for the Baja 500, and were happy to rent again for this years race. Great house, awesome upstairs view - can't wait to come back.

Perfect place!

We stayed at this home with friends and it was perfect. The clean, newly renovated house is a perfect location in between getting to Puerto Nuevo, Ensenada and the Valle. The decorated theme added to the experience. WE had such a great time that we have marked this as our favorite place! We would definitely stay here again!

Delightful stay

Spotless. Nicely furnished and decorated in a tortuga/nautical/beach theme. Well-stocked and well-organized kitchen. Very nice bathroom and comfortable bed. Everything worked and the owner was very responsive. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again. We are a retired couple and stayed there a week.

Great location, very clean, safe gated-community

We enjoyed our stay at Casa Tortugas! Easy communication with the owner, Guillermo. Easy check-in. The property was very welcoming, very clean, thoughtfully decorated, we felt at home. The community is gated with security, very quiet and felt safe. Beautiful views of the ocean from the roof top deck (covered). The house is well stocked with everything you could possibly need for your stay. The location is a short drive from Puerto Nuevo and to Ensenada (conveniently located in the middle). Nearby public beach La Mision is a must visit next time we go (weather didn’t allow us to go to the beach on this trip). Our family is already planning our next trip to Bajamar!
