The main bedroom has a brand new, king-sized bed, and furniture like nightstands, dresser, and chest of drawers TV , fireplace , decoration. The dining room has a table with room for 6. The kitchenette has a refrigerator and microwave, stove, water sinks. The property has WiFi.Situated in Blind Bay, guests can enjoy an afternoon of fishing, golfing, hiking, and checking out the waterfalls on nearby trails, and later watch the sun set over the lake.

Spend the day away, enjoying nearby attractions such as jet ski and boat rental, hiking to the Blind Bay lookout, and even make a trip out to hike around Copper Island. We had a blast at angelas haven! From may 17th to 20th 2024. The hosts George and Michelle were very helpful place was excellent including we loved the bedroom close to all amenities including the place we loved the most finz bar and grill and marina! Accommodations while in the area

It was mostly good. Because the building was shared by the owners (upstairs) and me (downstairs), it would be a bit better if it was quieter in the early morning (their kitchen right above my bedroom. Otherwise, it was fine.

short vacation in Blind Bay

We very much enjoyed our stay. The interaction with the family was delightful. Found the place larger then I expected from the pictures and was very happy to find a second bed tucked under the large bed pictured. As we were the first guest of the summer season, there were a few things missing but nothing that affected our stay. Thank you for a great weekend!! Jenny

Disappointing, not as advertised

We booked a few months in advance and then were told that there was going to be price increase after booking (so we needed to pay more).We arrived during 30 degree weather and although no AC was on the listing description, we asked for a fan. Our host told us they would look into it and never got back to us. So because we were in a multi day stay we bought our own fan to use at the rental. When we got to the main bedroom we were excited to watch some cable or satellite but it was not even hooked up. I contacted the host and was told that it was not offered and we could sign into Netflix with our own account if we wanted (which did not work on their tv and would not connect). I let the host know that he advertised cable/satellite in his listing and he did not try and fix it or apologize for misrepresenting his suite. On top of all of that, the only bedroom available for sleeping in was right under his upstairs kitchen and living room and has no sound proofing. I could literally hear all the pounding and noise and children playing instruments and even the sound of my texts clear as a bell to the host when I had an issue.I do not recommend this host or location unless they can remedy the above issues. House location is nice and private access but it was a very disappointing experience.

Won’t be staying there again.

We had no communication from the host about checking in. I sent a message through VRBO to ask about checking in but got no reply. When we did check in we were asked how long we were staying. The fridge wasn’t working so they gave us a cooler with ice packs. It was very cold in there. Only 2 electric heaters, bear in mind the temperature was hovering around zero and we had snow the last night we were there. It was very noisy all evening with their children running around upstairs until 11 at night. We ended up watching the tv in bed as that was warm. Nowhere else really to sit. The bed was comfortable though and the bed linens were clean. It served its purpose but we wouldn’t stay there again. The whole accommodation and yard needed some TLC.

Satisfied for price and location

Not to much information from the owner during our stay. He was away. (Kayak were due to this unavailable :(.... )Wife ans kids were upstair. Cleanest was ok but not impressive. Shower ceramic needed better care. Privacy was good enough. We did heard a lot Gorge's family upstairs due to bad quality insonorisation. Nicely the were quiet from 9h to 9h in the morning wich was good for us! We appreciated the location with pur car. Mostly 20 minutes from point of interest and real nice restaurants. Good recommandation from George with Rocky Point. Few minutes by car but we leasily walked 20 minutes to get there. House is not next to the water. No lake view. Kitchen accommodation is perfect and we loved the loft room with king bed and tv services! We recommend, just knowing fiew details would have low down a bit only expectations for 100% appréciation! Thanks George!

Was a great place And very affordable

Only downfall was I had some issues with my job I came to do but the owner was able to accommodate me and Reimburse me for the five days I missed or credit me those days so he told me I’ll update later lol

Wonderful place!!!

We really enjoyed our experience! We had all we needed and even more! The place is surrounded by by beautiful cedar trees. There is a great playground for the kids on the property. The owners offered us to use their kayaks what we did and made it to the Cooper Island. Everything in the suite was nice and clean! Thank you so much! We will come back soon!!

A few words from a couple of senior West Coasters visiting for a few days

Beautiful tree shaded hillside location. The walk out lowest level suite is fully furnished, cool and very comfortable. First class accommodation in beautiful surroundings with the most excellent hosts. We highly recommend it.
