Location! New for Summer 2025: Central Air Conditioning! Welcome to our spacious home near the heart of downtown Salida! This home sleeps 10 guests with lots of kid activities and offers a fenced yard for your furry friends to run and play. Salida gets hot the in Summer, so enjoy our central A/C.

Conveniently located just a short walk away from everything that Salida has to offer, this home is perfect for families and groups looking to explore all the great restaurants, cafes, shops, and galleries that this charming mountain town has to offer.

Upstairs, you'll find three cozy bedrooms and plenty of space for everyone to relax and unwind. Also, upstairs are two full bathrooms and an updated kitchen. Downstairs, there's a game room and activity closet for kids of all ages. Also, find a living area, a bedroom with 2 twin beds, an additional queen bed in the common area, and laundry room with washer/dryer. The steps leading to the downstairs area are original to the house and steep! Elderly folks and children may not be best suited for staying downstairs. A baby gate is provided.

Whether you're here for a weekend getaway or a longer vacation, our home is the perfect home base for your Salida adventures. Strong wifi for remote work and extended stays welcome. Cozy but lacking

We rented both houses on this property for almost a week, and the difference between them was huge.Back House – Amazing! Can't say that enough. Loved that it was newer build, great design, open floor plan, warm floors, even the bath towels are wildly impressive. Everything felt well thought out, from the aesthetics to the little details (even the towels were great). It was super comfortable and clearly well-managed. The instructions to operate fireplace was thoughtful, my only recommendation is to also have one for the coffee maker as it took a few days to figure out. Front House – Cozy... but LackingThe front house had a nice vibe and was well-designed, but it felt unfinished. The fact that there are only hangers and no storage in the bedrooms is nothing compared to the basement stairs. They are an abomination and that one feature completelyruins this house. Luckily we were able to keep all of the older folks on the first floor because there was no way they’d make it up and down multiple times a day. The “watch your head” sign honestly felt like a joke. Being a travel advisor, I can not fathom how this is not pictured.Overall, the back house was fantastic and would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone, but the front house needs the stairs redone and bedroom storage.

We had a nice trip, the house had everything we needed including toys for the kids and an outside area for the dog. Walking distance, even for kids, to all the things downtown. Would recommend.

Comfortable Home/Great Location

Comfortable updated home within a short walk to shops and restaurants. Kitchen was well stocked, comfortable beds and furniture. The small outdoor yard was fine for our little dogs. Our teenage boys loved the downstairs basement and game room! We’ve stayed in many rentals in Salida and this is one of the best!

Wow! What a great house!

We spent thanksgiving in Salida, as we have done countless times before, with plans to enjoy the quiet, but active, downtown and all it has to offer. We were not disappointed in Kristi’s house! So spacious, fully loaded, and a perfect spot for me to cook and serve a traditional feast! We could easily walk to town, had our dogs with us making use of the yard. And even skiied one full day! The beds were comfy, house was sparkling clean, and extras like air hockey table and board games made it just what we needed! We left recharged and ready to book our next stay! Thanks so much Kristy!!

Great place to stay!

I just got married in Salida and we needed a place for my whole family to stay, about 15 people. We were lucky enought to find this house as well as the house directly next door! The house was beautiful- comfortable beds, great kitchen, fully stocked with everything we need, and just a short walk from downtown. Booking and check in/check out was super easy as well. I highly recommend if you are looking to stay in Salida!

Perfect for large groups

We were in town for a funeral and were able to have several families stay at this property. Arrived to a clean house with a welcome basket to greet us. Plenty of space for additional family members to hang out. Basics; soaps for hands, laundry, and dishes, extra trash bags, etc are provided. So close to downtown, the park, and river! We loved our stay!
